Delta's physical recovery was complicated; even with the help of the physiotherapists, the electrostimulation and all the attention he received, he still needed a cane to walk in a stable manner. It is true that he was getting better every day, but it was not easy, to say the least.
However, Delta's mind had not stopped thinking about the place of the meteorite impact; surely all of North America and South America would be affected. Many would have thought that his thought would be to go to New York for his current wife and run away, but to Delta or Ricardo, he had a hard time getting used to his name, he couldn't care less what happened to Katie, his blonde, American and young second wife.
