As soon as the start began, Lion charged at Viper. If it were not for the fact that he had a shield in front of him, Viper would have had an easy time hitting with his short swords; however, he was forced to jump to the side to avoid being overwhelmed. The tip of the Lion's spear followed him in the movement, being deflected in the end by the short swords.
The way Viper moved his swords in circles on his own wrist was a nonsense; while many warriors made wide arcs with their arms to give their weapons a rotation effect, this guy was capable of moving them as if they were the blades of a fan.
He rejoined the combat with violence, crashing two attacks against Lion's shield, which took a couple of steps back so as not to get trapped in the melee. His response was a succession of quick spears, but the tip of the spear did not reach to break through the defense of the rotating swords.
