"We have information that demons are increasingly taking over people's bodies. Soon everyone will realize it."
"That's not the real problem. We need to be much faster than the media to eliminate as many demons as possible and hunt down the red zone where the gate to the underworld is located."
"The army is on it. What are we supposed to do besides wait?"
Anton was in a meeting with the captains in the field, his gaze fixed on the area where the infection was spreading and where containment efforts were underway.
To be honest, things were much more serious, so he was very skeptical about keeping this hidden. This was a unique opportunity they couldn't waste, as this time civilian casualties could reach the thousands.
"I'll have to make an announcement to control the masses. The tourists are here in the refugee shelters, and their families will start making noise about them." Anton suggested the best course of action in such a situation.
In critical situations where those affected might become public, people's concern is greater, and soon there will be pressure to uncover the truth.
Social media is currently very versatile and within reach of practically everyone, so soon it will become an uncontrollable fire.
"The world governments are not ready yet, sir. We need to wait longer."
Anton looked at the man who was in charge of media relations and asked, "What are we waiting for?"
"We need to move like an arrow in a misty wind without stopping. We must not show weakness to anyone, and only then can we remain strong."
The only reason to stop worrying people about a potential non-existent war is to maintain control over the information coming in and out of Jerusalem.
This must be done very carefully, and that's why Anton would handle it personally.
