Everyone stepped back without exception. Anton, on the other hand, was not part of that group because he did not move a single inch backward, remaining in his position the entire time.
"You have spent too long tormenting this family, so today I will be your guide to a new forgiveness." Anton extended his left hand weakly over the edge of that sword, which was more like a large knife.
The demon also had a sword. He stood over two and a half meters tall, towering over Anton, who was barely two meters tall.
The attire of this demon was similar to that of an ancient samurai, with the only exception being that he was not human in any way, given the size of his body and the dimensions of his sword.
"It's a monster..." Rim never thought she would witness such a powerful demon in life; her job consisted of cleansing places and eliminating weak evil spirits.
What they were now facing was something entirely different, beyond all logic.
Clang!
Without thinking twice, Anton launched into the attack. His heavy sword, forged in a special way, instantly clashed with the edge of the demon's sword, generating a piercing sound.
The distance between them widened again as they prepared for the next attack.
When Anton felt the demon's strength, he was not impressed; he had faced much more dangerous things. So this elimination was nothing out of the ordinary, something he could handle.
Jay, who was far away, pulled out his rocket launcher and, looking at the other agents, ordered, "What are you doing standing there like idiots waiting for food? Get ready to attack, don't waste time, damn idiots, or we won't get paid."
The agents of light, stunned, drew their special weapons and began to set up a special perimeter for suppression.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Anton sensed the movements around him, so he retreated instantly.
"Fire!" Jay shouted when he found the opportunity to attack without harming anyone.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Dozens of chained explosions were heard at the top of the mountain. Huge flames rose into the air, and Anton, who was watching what was inside those flames, moved.
"What is he doing?"
Casey looked at Rim, who was unaware of the methods for eliminating corporeal demons, and explained, "In situations like this, it is necessary to eliminate the demon as soon as possible. If for some reason it escapes, it would become a problem no one wants to face."
Boom!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Anton used thousands of points of light in his next attacks. The air in his lungs was expelled, and with a quick impact, he murmured, "It's over."
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Three blades of darkness shot out from the edge of Anton's sword and consecutively struck the demon's body.
But as if that wasn't enough, Anton dropped his sword and murmured while bringing his forearms together in front of his chest, "Perfect Red King."
At the same time, he moved at great speed while his right hand bled, and without any fear, he struck the demon's chest, penetrating it.
Crack!
The bones creaked loudly, and after that, there was a dead silence that left everyone very perplexed, wondering what was happening behind those curtains of dust and fire.
"You don't have much time, ShadowBane. The darkness will descend with such force that you won't be able to stop it."
Anton did not lower his gaze; his eyes locked onto the demon's until it disappeared into a cloud of dust. "I will always be ready, waiting."
