"The invading parasites go through two stages of development. The primary form resembles a nearly translucent green snake with yellow eyes protruding from its head and an appendage resembling a drill at the front of its head."
Anton observed this parasite closely, seeing that worm-like creature crawling. "If those things fall from the sky indefinitely, we'll be dead in less than a year."
"With no way to prevent invasion, those creatures are almost unpredictable," Akira agreed with Anton's words.
Sam broke into a cold sweat hearing these two weirdos talk so openly about their own extinction. Don't they feel anything about discussing such dire consequences?
"The second stage occurs when the parasite finds its host and enters its body, maturing over time to synchronize with the host. Most parasites resemble their hosts, and the interior should match the skin. They can transform into different shapes and expand and harden certain parts of their body at will."
"So, once they take over a human brain, they just kill, right?" Sam asked the question that bothered everyone.
"After taking control of a human or animal brain, parasites develop the instinct to kill and devour other members of their host species; parasites inhabiting humans must consume other humans, while those occupying dogs must consume other dogs."
Akira, who was in the room, knew perfectly well what this meant—nothing but a food chain of intelligent beings. "The fittest survive..."
"Parasites are also only capable of occupying the bodies of the first host species, and in humans, they must be the same sex as their host."
"That information isn't very helpful." Anton thought of an endless number of things but still couldn't think of positive outcomes.
"Parasites also often possess a high degree of knowledge; some can use books and the Internet to acquire the ability to speak and a large amount of basic knowledge about the world, which they use to their advantage. Some parasites use their intelligence to become leaders of other parasites, mostly observed in Japan."
The man explaining everything took a deep breath and continued, "They can identify other parasites through the wavelengths emitted by their brains. Weaker parasites, or those that failed to occupy their host's brain, emit weaker signals accordingly."
"All parasites have the ability to transform into many different sizes and shapes, and they can become elastic or harden into a form stronger than steel."
"Their ability to transform is most often used to blend into human society, though their vacant stare and lack of empathy can distinguish them from certain humans, or to combat humans or other parasites. Parasite organisms possess physical capabilities that are exponentially greater than their host's."
Everyone remained silent. Anton stood up, understanding most of what he needed to provide solutions. "Listening to what the disaster expert has mentioned, we are facing one of the most ferocious creatures we've ever encountered."
"Last time, I faced a werewolf with a gold fang; I just thought I'd mention it." Dean fell silent, knowing his joke hadn't landed.
"Was that supposed to be a joke?" Akira looked at this man, who seemed to have had a past relationship with Anton.
Sam looked at Akira and said, "Ignore him; the less attention you pay to him, the better."
Anton displayed information on the huge screen and said, "Parasites controlling humans aren't stupid; they know perfectly well that despite their strength, they're at a disadvantage against humans. They will remain hidden. Those who caused all the chaos were cases like in South Korea, where the parasite was influenced by its nature, disregarding any idea of survival."
"So, how do we find them?" Dean didn't know how to identify these things.
"Through artificial intelligence, No one here knows, but we have detailed summaries of their behaviors, the way they dress, and what they search for on the Internet. As soon as you drastically change your personality, an assistant will observe you and determine if it's worth investigating personally."
Anton remained silent at these words, aware that the Eye of God did all this work of controlling people, but the vast majority of those present understood perfectly well why this was done.
The hunters didn't have much idea of everything behind identifying a dark entity, but this would undoubtedly help them do their job.
"So, how are we going to work?" Sam didn't want to waste more time in this place.
"We'll use class three weaponry. Modified shotguns with piercing ammunition will be ideal for causing enough damage to these things. However, the parasites' attack range is so large that we mustn't get too close to them to avoid entering their range."
"Or we can be faster than them and kill them before they realize." Akira was convinced she could be faster than the parasites.
Anton nodded, not denying this, and continued, "We will know if these things increase in number. They will make themselves known by eating, so we will find them before they cause an uproar like in South Korea."
"The Winchester brothers will take charge with a special elite team to monitor these things. I understand you want to help with this, am I right?"
Dean frowned and said, "We work alone; we don't need babysitters doing our job."
Rafael then intervened, "That's why you cause so many problems dealing with dark entities. I understand your brother doesn't consider these things enemies of humanity in certain cases."
"You better keep quiet." Sam looked intently at this man.
Anton shook his head and, with slight weariness, said, "Alright, you will all be informed of the plan we will take next. The meeting is adjourned."
