Chapter 201 - Building Situations

According to speculation, there is a high probability that all the residents of the entire apartment building have been possessed by demons. The lava debris on the second floor, along with stronger movement on the third floor, added a bit more certainty to this assumption.

Standing on wooden sticks that had been brought here for no reason, they generated a crackling sound as Anton advanced alongside the agents who had completely cleared this floor. The demons didn't bleed; their bodies, upon dying, turned into lava rock and fell to the ground, creating horrible sounds.

At that moment, Anton was greeted on every floor he ascended by dozens of demons that were eliminated in the same way.

Boom!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Ahhhhhh!"

The images of the rooms, air ducts, and hallways flashed in Anton's mind as he analyzed the ways he would be attacked and effectively commanded his agents to avoid casualties.

On the fourth floor of the building, these demons appeared one after another, all of them running against the bullets as if they had suffered no damage at all. This allowed Anton's team to eliminate them quite easily, but their ammunition at this point would be spent much faster than expected, and they would need other ways to deal with the demons.

"Zz... sir, we'll need more ammunition!"

Anton didn't need to inquire about anything; his sole objective was to kill everything so he could return home and rest properly, so he had to make sure to do a good job.

"Be more precise with your shots, don't fire simultaneously, and focus on single targets."

"Understood, Archbishop!"

Anton stood on a staircase landing and gently threw a salt grenade upwards, where he had sensed several presences. It was a perfect throw. The grenade fell onto the upper stairs and rolled into the hallway. At that moment, a group of demons looked incredulously at that thing rolling; none of them knew what it was, and when they were about to move, the explosion turned them into dust.

Boom!

"Ahhhhhhh!"

These similarly-looking demons had been obliterated. Anton, upon hearing the grenade explode, came out and walked over the bodies writhing on the floor. As soon as the screams subsided, the group of demons ran directly at Anton with fierce faces.

In the flickering emergency lights, these people's faces were as horrifying as zombies in a way, but more intelligent and powerful than zombies. If they only used common firearms or ordinary attacks, then these people would have a very high mortality rate because they could still continue moving. But Anton wasn't using ordinary bullets; even the light agents behind him weren't using common cartridges.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Ahhhhhh!"

"Room cleared!"

Boom!

Anton watched as the demons were being eliminated and made sure none of them got close enough to cause trouble.

"Rest in peace..."

Boom! Boom! Boom!

There was an explosion louder than thunder outside. The lightning's lights illuminated Anton's appearance, and there was very little difference between him and a demon who showed no emotions. At the moment, a light agent eliminated a demon; others advanced to cover the advance, eliminating more demons that were quite easy to deal with in a certain way.

"Keep advancing; don't stop!"

Accompanied by the sound of bullets, Anton did his best to reserve ammunition for the main enemy, so he began using his sword and fist.

...

"Go to hell, go to hell, go to hell..."

"Go to hell, go to hell, go to hell..."

Anton, who had reached the ninth floor, stopped, looked around, and his gaze rose to the ventilation ducts.

"In this way..."

Anton waved his hand, and a blade of darkness cut the ventilation duct in half, and at that moment, a body fell in half from that same place.

Boom!

"You'll rot in hell!"

Anton looked at the demon and murmured, "Then I'll kill as many demons as I can before perishing."

Bang!

"Keep advancing!"

Anton changed the magazine of his pistol and looked around to make sure everything was clear.
