A few hours later, Anton entered the morgue where the corpse of the woman who had been murdered by the dark entity lay, and upon seeing that bloodstained smile, he stood motionless, gazing at the aura surrounding her body.
"Holy Father, eternal and Almighty God, we pray for this tormented soul who has suffered at the hands of a dark entity. Grant her eternal rest to heal all her traumas.
"Grant her happiness, light, and peace. May she, having passed through death, join the saints in eternal light, as you have promised to many and to her descendants.
"May her soul no longer suffer, and deign to resurrect her with the saints on the day of resurrection and reward.
Forgive her sins, so that she may attain immortal life with you in the eternal kingdom."
Anton took out his purple cross and placed it in the hands of the young woman, who lay motionless; her smile faded as sincere prayers showered over her.
"Amen..."
Alexander watched as Anton prayed for the souls and felt a lonely sensation in those words, as if Anton were suffering.
What must he have experienced to behave like this?
Not everything is beautiful in the world free from blindfolds; Alexander, too, has seen things that have changed his view of the world, something he cannot avoid as an exorcist.
Observing Anton's actions, Alexander realized something, and that understanding prevented him from admiring Anton, who did not seek admiration. But fearing misinterpretation, he decided it was best to remain serious about this work.
"Let's go; we need to gather information about this demon." Anton quietly left the morgue after saying these words.
"You seemed so kind and serious, but it turns out you're the most expressive as an exorcist." Alexander exclaimed softly with a sigh as he followed Anton.
Despite the traumatic events they had witnessed, the work never ended, and now, as exorcists, they had to devise a logical plan to eliminate the dark entity.
Anton was very aware of devising plans to eliminate dark entities.
"[Mission in progress... Type: Exorcism/elimination Request: Help Rose eliminate the dark entity that is now following her to kill her. Reward: Extreme cold resistance... "
Anton, walking towards the car, glanced at the mission that had appeared in his attribute panel and didn't even show emotion. Rewards for eliminating dark entities had disappeared from his body a long time ago.
What he had been investigating was a way to eliminate the most supernatural problems, but even his father had no answer to the mission Anton had set for himself a year ago.
He was close to turning 22, so, knowing he still had time, he focused on forging good soldiers. Alexander was one of the future leaders he wanted in his group because of his special eyes and the way he used monk-style talismans.
Meanwhile, Rafael was training Thomas, and Terry was taking care of eliminating the easier problems in the church.
Anton trusted them, being his pillars on which he would rely for future missions; they needed to be very strong to survive.
Thinking about this, he curiously looked at his general statistics.
"[... Name: Anton ShadowBane

Was Anton excited to have all these faith points? Not at all; he had discovered that no matter how many Faith points he had, they were spent on dangerous missions due to his abilities that required many Faith points.
He had planted more trees; these gave him points passively, but some that were neglected stopped doing so because Anton wasn't giving them the care they needed.
But in recent months, he had used his time wisely to recover those small trees he had lost, and now he had double the productivity he had before.
"At least I should be careful with collateral damage..." Anton looked at Alexander, who was buying coffee, and as if he were an elderly person, he decided that no one else would die under his care.
Not a single person more would die; Anton was sure of that.
"Sir, did you design the new Exorcist Priest robes? Look at the design; they are more focused on physical combat; are they directly blessed by you?" Alexander got into the car and asked about something he had just learned.
Anton, being pulled out of his thoughts, nodded and said, "These robes have the best technology in the world; at least they will give us a lower mortality rate than we have on missions."
"That's interesting..."
