Using the last drop of Fe energy left in his body, Anton joined his arms in front of the demon and shouted, "Mighty holy angels, granted by God for our protection and assistance, in the name of the Holy Trinity, we beseech you."
"Hasten to us, help us!"
The exorcists around, with traces of blood, approached and surrounded the demon. All of them held their golden Grimoire, and each, with a dignified look, joined Anton to support the ongoing invocation.
"We beseech you in the name of the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ: Hasten to us, help us!"
"We beseech you by the mighty name of Jesus: Hasten to us, help us!"
"Nooooo!" The demon screamed in horror as, with each passing second, a figure over ten meters tall with wings so bright appeared behind Anton.
The exorcist priests, soldiers on the verge of death, cried when they saw that a divine being had made an appearance, and those who died went with a smile on their faces.
"We beseech you for all the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ: Hasten to us, help us!"
"We beseech you for all the martyrdoms of our Lord Jesus Christ: Hasten to us, help us!"
When Anton felt he could no longer stand, an unknown force sprouted from his chest, and a voice that touched his soul said, "You are on the right path; now let me help you take that demon back to where it belongs."
"We beseech you by the holy word of God: Hasten to us, help us!"
"We beseech you by the heart of our Lord Jesus Christ: Hasten to us, help us!"
"We beseech you in the name of God's love for us, the poor: Hasten to us, help us!"
Anton, who was severely injured, felt himself healing, and in front of him, a being with enormous wings appeared invisibly. Everyone saw it, and after a simple glance, they bowed their heads.
"Despite not having an idea of existence in my mind, you still come to help me." Anton, who had seen an angel for the first time in his life, felt a very strange sensation running through his body.
Ignoring the prayers of the other exorcists, Anton looked at the demon, who had fallen to his knees, and with each prayer that was sung, his body disappeared without a trace.
The angel simply looked at him, and without any communication, that was more than enough to cause infinite terror for the demon.
"We beseech you in the name of God's faithfulness to us, the poor: Hasten to us, help us!"
"We beseech you in the name of God's mercy for us, the poor. Hasten to us, help us!"
Arghh!
The demon, knowing its terrible fate, looked at Anton and murmured, "Someday, when the gate of hell is opened, I will come to kill you, but before that, I will kill all your loved ones."
"Whenever you come back here, I'll be waiting for you, demon." Anton closed his eyes a little more, and at that moment, as if losing the strength in his legs, something exploded, and a red-eyed socket fell to the ground.
"Quick, place the red eye on the seal!" An exorcist priest ran to where the eye had fallen, and after picking it up with a golden glove, he placed it inside a stone box.
Crack!
After closing it, several seals were placed on it, and Anton, who asked for help to walk, approached the box and personally left a blood cross using his Hand of God ability.
"That's it; I leave the rest to you." Anton closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep. He had taken many severe blows, and if he stood up, it was because the demon was still alive.
"Quick, call the support team!"
"Check if there are any other injuries!"
"I need a tourniquet; help!"
Although many had died, everyone who still lived knew that it was not yet time to rest, so they quickly helped those they could.
...
Dark...
All the surroundings rested in darkness. After feeling that endless sensation, it was unknown what had happened over time.
Therefore, it is unknown how much time has passed since Anton regained consciousness.
In this strange and dark place, he couldn't perceive anything, neither distance, direction, nor time, and obviously, he had now become a conscious person.
After completing the exorcism, Anton knew he hadn't died. There was no doubt that he was currently going through the sensation of apparently a bit or something similar to that.
However, Anton could dream and question his existence. So he could interpret it as the beginning of a life as vast as existence.
"At least I can think..." Anton thought bitterly. If he's still lucky, it would be better to find a way to wake up than to die of boredom in this dark place.
During all this time, Anton could only look at the Book of Desires within his subconscious. From his experience, he discovered that time has no meaning for the soul, to the point that he doesn't know if a century has passed or just a second.
Time only exists to measure the lives of humans, so now, in this state, it is impossible for him to measure the passage of time.
Just as Anton's mind worked to try to find a way to at least do something, he felt a sensation of attraction pulling his consciousness. Obviously, he couldn't see anything, but he clearly felt as if every part of his existence was being drawn to a new place.
Opening his eyes, Anton found himself in what seemed to be a hospital room.
"Guardian Bishop, I'll call the doctor." A nurse ran out when she saw Anton had awakened.
