"Fire!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The shots from the first containment agents in the field were immediate. The sound of shrapnel piercing the walls hit the demon that had possessed Jack, and no one stopped, no matter how many bullets pierced through that figure.
"Ahhhhhh!"
Because, for reasons unknown to everyone, the light had gone out, the demon took advantage of the confusion to move at full speed and appear next to a soldier.
"You damn vermin!" Jack held a soldier's head and lifted him in the air, throwing him a few seconds later against other soldiers who had appeared at the entrance.
Boom!
At that moment, an explosion was heard, causing the soldiers to change positions and more retreated among the huge space in the lobby of the building.
"Where is that exorcist?" Jack, with a wave of his hand, made several soldiers fly towards the walls.
"Go to hell, you damn demon." A soldier with a broken spine pulled out his pistol and shot the demon several times before being killed by it.
"Attack!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Regardless of how strong the demon was, there was only one thought among all the containment soldiers who did not have exorcism abilities, and that was to eliminate the threat or cause as much damage as possible before dying.
"Fall back; the bishop is coming, so you must hold on."
Crack!
"Ahhhhhhh!"
In a few minutes, Jack had changed his form. Right now, a red eye has formed on his forehead, and his body has changed, growing at least to a height of three meters. At the top of his head, a horn protruded, and his arms inflated as if he were a monster.
"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." A soldier, whose body was half crushed, simply held his cross and prayed silently.
The demon looked at this soldier and murmured, "Pathetic and pitiful human..."
"It wasn't for you; it was to give me courage." The soldier's eyes opened, and after saying that, he threw several grenades that exploded in his hands.
Boom!
"What is the status of the first team?" Anton asked as he entered the elevator, smiling with his rifle.
"Zz... Team A, respond! What is the situation upstairs?"
"Zz..."
Anton looked at the radio in silence; everyone behind him closed their eyes, knowing that Team A at this moment had been slaughtered by the enemy.
"Are you afraid?"
"There is no fear in our hearts, Guardian Bishop!" All the agents of light behind him said:.
Anton swept his gaze across the group and said, "It's okay to feel fear; that will keep you alive up there, so listen to what your instincts tell you."
Crack!
At that moment, the elevator reached the underground parking lot, and the lights, which were turned off, suddenly lit up.
"Take cover and wait for orders; if you see I'm in trouble, get ready to give it your all." Anton took off his jacket and gloves.
At that moment, he knew that bullets couldn't help him in this situation, so he handed his gun to Terry, who was beside him, and said, "Stay safe."
"Understood, sir!"
Anton looked at the absence of vehicles inside the parking lot, but those that were there were positioned in strategic locations. He stood in the middle of the parking lot, knowing that the demon would come out of the elevator in front of him.
This was not the first time he would face such a powerful enemy, but it was the first occasion he wouldn't use bullets to eliminate it. After seeing a breath of blood approaching, he said, "Set up the barriers and seal the place. We will stop the demon here."
"Stop me here?" A double voice was heard from the back, and when the elevator reached this floor, the door was shattered, revealing the demon bathed in the blood of the soldiers who had restrained it above.
Anton walked fearlessly forward, shortening the distance he had with the demon. This time, he would use all his strength and wouldn't hold back on spending points. At this moment, his sword shone with a blue color, giving his body a divine aura.
Holding a metal tube, Anton slid his fingers in the air, and the blade, as if by magic, formed. "In heaven and on earth, I am a demon hunter like you. No matter where you come from, you will always end up in the same place when you face me."
"Do you think you have a chance? Then come, damn demon." The demon waved its hand, filling the floor with blood.
Anton, who maintained a calmness on his face, began to run at a moderate speed towards the demon, and as the seconds passed, his speed increased until he ran at full speed as if he were a superhuman.
Roaarrrrr!!!
