Chapter 41 - Chapter 39: Annihilation.

The flesh creature then turns toward Taski after his roar from his rage spilled forth. "You and your friends are cornered against the wall; you're all inferior to me, yet you still stand against me somehow. With a new-found power that hides deep down inside you, what a pity you can't bring it out at will. If you can match my power, then fig-." The creature utters but is then directly struck through the face by Taski's extraordinarily newfound speed and strength combined with the total fury of a king. The creature staggered and shook from the fierceness of flame and wrath, "You can call this Raging Fury." Taski groans in the ear of the monster in dominance. The flesh regenerated and positioned itself behind Taski for a counter-attack on his head as the creature pushed forward for the attack. Taski grabbed the flesh tentacle and swung it toward him, charging his fist with flames and supreme power. Taski thrust his strike into the heart of the creature, making it spew out gallons of blood; furthermore, Taski grabbed the creature's head, with its sharp horns, and its decaying skin, followed with a painful screech it expressed, Taski furiously divided the creature's head into two.

"(This is not my brother at all, he's gone complete savage. He's..., not the... pure-hearted little brother. He's gone.)" Darcie thought to herself in fear as she watched her brother massacre the creature alive. Mikado nearly lost herself as her love interest became a wild and untamable beast, "(Taski..., you've gone completely insane, I'm scared of you now.)." Mikado wondered in her mind. Drake and Killian both stood in shock from the transformation of their teammate, and Ariah then gained slight conscience to reality, "Tas...ki, do...n't lose yo...ur...self." She hoped for him as she glanced at his eyes. The flesh then regenerated and tackled our fearless hero into the pile of equipment and rubble, and it screamed out a battle cry of rage toward his superior; after this, Taski arose from the pile and from the creature's tentacle to strike its limbs with his sword, Flame Core. He then slashed off the wrists of the creature, then the legs, and then its neck; he then sliced downward through the creature's face. "What was that about the stone belonging to you? It doesn't belong to a dastard, not a let-down and ugly pile of rubbish like you. Now, rot in this place and wonder how you should've handled it." Taski insulted the horrific creature, cold heartily and disgracefully. At that time, the creature erupted from irritation, slammed him into multiple objects around, and applied its extra flesh tentacles on him; the pressure began to crush Taski with an outburst of incredible strength.

"I AM OVER YOU, AND I AM OVER THE KNIGHTS! YOU ARE NOTHING, YOU ARE FINITE, YOU ARE NOT OVER ME!" The creature roars at the prince, with its rage becoming unrestrained. Darcie and the rest watch as Taski is then crushed under the flesh and standing with no plan to save him, "No! TASKI!" Darcie cries aloud. In the blink of an eye, a massive wall of flames bursts out from the flesh pile covering Taski; moreover, he shoots out from the pile and unleashes a mighty sword slash through the creature's large colon and small intestine. Its blood gushes all over Taski's body while the creature moans in deep and tormenting pain; furthermore, Taski grabbed the creature's head with his fingers deeply into the head of the beast while rushing toward the nearby wall; he then slammed its head across the wall and smothered it with blood rushing off from the creature's face. "(He's become uncontrollable; he's probably not even aware of the damage he's done; at this rate, he'll only continue to kill and mutilate this flesh monster. I don't know if I could even approach him anymore; I feel a terrible fear in me just watching him.)" Darcie thinks, terror-stricken to heart as she watches her young brother. Mikado then notices the blood and damages he commits and becomes afraid of his presence entirely, "I can't watch this anymore, that's not my baby at all. That's a maniac before us, and he's not stopping." Mikado spoke under her breath behind her team captain.

The flesh kept regenerating, but it never managed to kill its target. Taski's rage proved supreme over the creature, leaving little to no room to attack or breathe; moreover, Prince Taski rushed through and slashed through the monster that attempted to cover the room. Much blood spilled all around him, leaving a horrible smell in the lab room; furthermore, he then reached the creature once more and struck the creature's heart. The flesh then cried aloud from the attack and begged Taski for mercy to spare its heart from destruction, "Oh, now you want mercy? Hmph, burn in Hell, you waste, and don't show your ugly face to me again." He spoke coldly to his enemy. He then crushed the flesh's heart right before its eyes as he stared it down with a beast-like glare. Darcie and the rest gasped at Taski's miraculous triumph; however, questioning his morality arose in their minds. At that time, Taski let out a powerful and evil scream as his battle cry, while the rest of them watched and trembled at his terrifying ability force. As he continued to laugh and scream, with Ariah's little portion of life left, she then gazed over at him and spoke through her ability to force his mind. "Don't leave me, don't let the evil inside swallow you, don't allow your heart to turn against us and yourself."

She spoke calmly into his mind as she struggled to hang onto her life. Then, as he heard her voice speaking to him, flashes of his memories with her spiraled through his mind. "(Ariah?)" He thought, confused while hearing her speak to him. Then, afterward, he heard Eden speaking to Thorn, tears escaping from her eyes as she fought to earn his love and attention. "Thorn, NO! You can't let this anger restrain you, Thorn, please! I LOVE YOU!" She shouted aloud into his heart, only then to become consumed in his flames of rage; she pushed forward through the flames as they burned away her precious leaves, branches, and pellets and thus made her body halfway burned away. Once she reached him, she grasped his body tightly and cried aloud in sorrow, "Please, my flame. I don't want you to die; if you don't stop now, it'll kill you one day." Thorn then heard her cry in his head, her voice sliced open his heart from the sound of her holy cry; it was like a woman's most painful shedding of tears, like her other half had vanished from her to leave her in complete pieces, like a broken heart slowly falling to the floor. Thorn's anger was stilled by her grief; Taski then realized in his heart that Ariah's cry was Eden's heart, bursting with tears over his fury.

Although her tears were not physical, her tears cried for his heart to repent from its raging fury; after that, Taski's left eye was burning with a flame as an effect of his transformation; it had then burned out, which then caused him to finally awaken from being unrestrained. He had then realized the damage he had done around his team and panicked about his transformation, it then crossed his mind about the promise he made to Judge Odin, as well as Emerald. "(I broke my promise to her and the judge, and now, they'll notice the markings on my face and see that I transformed again. At least with this power, I was able to save Ariah from being crushed.)" Taski said in his mind to himself in calmness. He then approached her and lifted her up, he held her head and valued her scars while silently shedding tears at her damages, the thought of the promise he made to her, as well as her father.

His words replayed as he felt the shame and guilt of letting her become damaged and broken nearly to the point of death. Darcie and the others slowly approached him from behind to regroup with him, "Brother, are you... still on our side?" She asked him with fear and expectation of being attacked. He then responded to her calmly, in agreement with his morality and alignment with the Asalikians. Taski then tossed the radar at Darcie and ordered her to rush toward the shuttle and to pick them up, Darcie remained questioned about the radar, but then realized the battery percentage. She then acted on the command and rushed out of the lab escaped through the forest and found their ship, she powered the regeneration chamber for Ariah and blasted off toward her team's location. Our knights then succeeded in their world mission recovery and thus made their way to the Treesape Asalikith.
