It was a gloomy and cloudy Saturday, one day after the Knights exams' most controversial moment in the history of Asalikith. However, before Saturday, after the explosion of rage that Taski unleashed before everyone in the stadium, Diarmuid stopped him before he could get out of control and rampage throughout the capital. Taski remained unconscious and unable to stand, Kianah packed Taski with her and transported him into her lab for research and to find the leading cause of his fury. Taski never awoke after the mess was cleaned up, this established fear and anxiety within Maisie, his mother, not only that, but also Mikado, she fainted as soon as she was introduced to the unfortunate news. Now on that Saturday, rain poured out on the Asalikith Capital which left a terrible gloominess over the city, as well as the citizens. Taski's mind began to regain small control, but was thrown into a dream. He felt as though his body sunk into a bottomless black pit that was filled with water no eye could see, but only feel.
He awoke in his dream, and could not breathe, but could also hold his breath for as long as he desired. He observed his surroundings and was confused as to where he was, he looked everywhere around him but heard no voice or sound. Taski then looked in front of him and saw what seemed to be a bright light that looked like it was a tunnel shining at the end of it. He attempted to move towards it, but quickly realized that his movement was completely restricted. He then panicked, and began squirming around in the unseeable water, he thought to himself, "(Is this it? I can't die here, not like this. Why is it that I feel this anger deep inside my chest? This doesn't make any sense at all!)" When reality then struck him to his head, he then awoke in panic and fear, breathing heavily and almost knocking over a table with tools and paper, he zooms his vision around the entire dark room, wondering where he was at.
Taski then called out loud, "Hello? Is anyone here? Please show yourself!" Then suddenly, a rectangular window brightened up the dark room, he noticed two shadow figures standing in the window and also heard whispering voices. One voice sounded very familiar, "Is that... Kianah?" He said to himself. Then out of nowhere, a voice spoke louder on a speaker, "Well, it appears that you've awakened Mr. Prince. Good to have you back, buddy." A mysterious voice spoke. The voice didn't sound familiar to Taski, he then asked, "Who's there? Where am I?" The mysterious voice then spoke and revealed itself to him," Mr. Taski Mandelen, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Berend Heitmann. I am the Vice President of COARF, and if you're looking for the longer explanation, that is Capital of Asalikith Research Facility. Now that I've introduced myself, I believe there is no reason to introduce my wife, Kianah. Without further ado, you're in here because you've been now labeled as a threat to society, and today we are going to do some last-minute checks on you, so we can then release you, finally."
Taski could only remain stoned to the words of him, "A threat... to society? Wait... what's going on, what could I have done that's threatening to the citizens?" He thought to himself, fearing what could come next. Kianah then walked into the examination room bravely, she approaches him with courage and says, "Taski, as I hate to be the barer of bad news, I unfortunately have to share something regarding you. Yesterday, there was an incident at the end of the Knights Exams, and it left the entire audience in fear. I need to know, do you remember anything that happened?" Taski froze and thought to himself about what she was talking about, as he had no idea what the ending was like. "I do not remember anything, Mrs. Kianah" He replied to her. She then sighed and facepalmed in frustration due to no answer, she then asked him, "Okay then, do you remember anything about Chris Deratea, do you remember what happened between you and him?"
Taski then thought back as far as he could remember, but he could only remember that Chris wanted nothing but revenge. He then replied to her saying, "Mrs. Kianah, I'm sorry but all I can remember is that he wanted revenge on me for something that happened between me and him many years ago when we were younger." Kianah then felt there was no other way to bring his memory back, she then reached up and pulled down a mirror to reveal to him the after effects of his frightening transformation. He then looked over at her as she did this, and then his horrible side effects were then known to him. He saw what looked to be flame markings over his eyes, he thought to himself, "(Why do I look like some punk star with these markings over my eyes.)" He then looked at his neck and noticed flame markings on the side of his neck going down to his abdomen.
He also noticed that his arms and muscles were grown and detailed. Taski could only keep staring into the mirror and witness the confusing and yet terrifying side effects. Kianah then pulled down a television box, and showed on the screen a replay of what was captured on live footage of his transformation that took place. Taski listened and observed the footage, his spines grew chills hearing his own screams. He said to himself then, "That... was... Me? I can't believe this, yet this is a live playback of what happened." She then informed him about the current trial, "That's not all, because of what happened to you, the citizens are now terrified. They think you're now some ravenous beast that has no control, and now you and your entire family are being held on trial." Kianah said to him. He was then filled with fear of all that was unloaded on him, he began to breathe heavily and grabbed the bedsheets covering him, he squeezed them incredibly hard, the fear of being held on trial swallowed him whole.
Kianah then released the wires and connections attached to his body to release him off the research table, "Well Taski, this is where we release you, you need to meet your dad outside near the counter reception center. There, he'll lead you and discuss with you everything that is going down with the judge. All I can say is... be careful with your words and... good luck." She reminded and warned him caringly. She then escorted him out the door of the research room and led him to a clear glass walkway that led to another part of the research facility. Kianah then departed from him and allowed him to finish his walk alone. Taski then proceeded through a door that then led to Diarmuid, there the two rushed to each other and greeted with a father and son hug. Diarmuid was relieved to see his son alive and well, the two gripped each other tightly and Taski said to him, "Dad! I can't believe I'm going on trial, this is all my fault dad. I have nothing else to say besides I am truly sorry that this happened."
Before Taski could say anything else, Diarmuid interrupted him without caring about the incident and said to him, "Son, I'm not concerned about yesterday. All that matters to me is that you're alive and that I can still have you around because without you, I wouldn't be able to live anymore, likewise with the rest." After the two reunited, they both departed out of the research facility section and into the courtyard area of the building, as the research facility was merged with other surrounding buildings. The two walked across another clear glass walkway that revealed an astonishing view of the main central town and marketplaces, as well as a perfect view of the capital building. Taski was awestruck by the view and stopped, Diarmuid commanded him saying, "Quickly, we must move. There's no time to admire the sight, son." With this being said, Taski quickly caught up to him before anyone down in the streets could spot him in the walkway.
The two walked through many sections that were blocked off by the public and sneaked past the high populated areas with the people, the loud sound of crowds were like a massive crowd of people waiting for an outside concert. They then were only left with one direction, Diarmuid said to him, "Taski, we are going to have to walk near the people, as we are left with no other route option." The two walked through double doors that went into the courthouse, they approached the center plaza section to enter into the hallways leading to waiting rooms. The people then spotted the two walking quickly, this only attracted news reporters, cameramen, and photographers. Everyone stared deeply at Taski and began talking about him, "Guys, Look, It's him! There He Is. He's still Alive and is Released!" The people shouted. Taski's anxiety grew and worsened as he watched them all stare him down, he then heard a loud and miserable voice crying loudly. Taski then thought to himself, "(Is that... Mikado? What is she doing here?)" He searched through all the people and then found her trying to break free from the security's grip, in attempt to rush over to him and lock herself to him.
Diarmuid commanded him once more, "Taski! We do not have time to look around, now let's go." He obeyed his command and sprinted toward him. They then both exited out of the main hub of the first floor, the two then entered an elevator that took them up to the third floor. The two walked past the different courtrooms, there they approached the waiting glass room. The waiting glass rooms were for the victims and their witnesses to wait in, as they waited for their lawyers to arrive. "Son, I want you to go in that waiting room, the one that is made of glass. There you will have your friends waiting for you. I will come back to take all of you when the time is here." Diarmuid commanded him. Taski then proceeded over to the waiting room as his father instructed him. As soon as his appearance was visible, Mikado then spotted him through the glass door, she then jumped up faster than she ever had, he then entered the room and was greeted by her with a massive hug. Darcie, as well as Drake then both appear before the two, Mikado nearly squeezed the life he had in him; however, he embraced the love she offered him.
Darcie then spoke to him, saying, "Brother, I'm so glad to see you're alive in the flesh, I couldn't sleep knowing you were being locked away in the facility." Drake then gave his greeting to him, "Dude, it's really you. Boy are we glad to see you alive and well and... wait a minute. Dude, did you hurry and hit the gym before getting here? Your arms have bigger muscles now." Mikado then opened her eyes to lost treasure, sitting right before her very eyes. She blushed to the extreme when she felt and saw his muscles, "Taski... your... arms got bigger. I'm even more deeply attached to you now, sweetie." She then drooled all over him and his newly improved muscle structure, Taski knew he now had her on his case as well. He then asked, "Hey you guys, where is Ariah at? I was told all of you were going to be here waiting for me." Darcie then pointed into the second part of the room, directing him to her location. He then walked into the other side, and there he found Ariah staring at the pictures on the wall.
He could see her reflection in the picture frame, "(Her face... her beautiful and precious face, her eyes.)" He thought to himself. As he looked at her damaged eye, he then caught a slight flashback of the incident that happened, it stopped him from speaking, that is until Ariah faced him in the eyes and spoke saying, "Taski, you're alive. Thank the Lord above, he has answered our prayers." He looked her in her eyes and stared at her for a little, she then proceeded to say to him, "Do not let the past tear apart what you have been building for your years. I'm glad you could protect me from dying out there. I do not have any grievous feelings against you, Taski." He shed a tear, he reached in and grabbed her and wrapped his arms around her, "Ariah... I... I'm terribly sorry I let him do this to you, you didn't deserve this." He cried to her. Ariah felt his heart poor out before her, she felt the tears his heart was crying and wrapped her wings around him as a sign of complete acceptance. She wiped his tears falling from his eyes and knew his heart was genuine towards her.
Mikado saw this and was filled with grief as he cried his eyes to her, she then joined the two with a hug, likewise Darice and Drake. After they finished their greeting together, the five then sat down to have a discussion. Taski didn't have a clue as to how he was going to face against the judge, "I'm worried about who is going to judge me, I've never been on trial before. What if I say the wrong thing, what if I don't say something I should. I need to prepare for what is coming for me." He said to them. Darcie broke the news to him and said, "Judge Odin is going to judge you brother. Did dad not warn you about this?" Taski's heart sunk deep after she spoke about Odin, his anxiety sparked, like stones scraping against each other. Ariah felt his anxiety rise, she then placed her arm on his knee and sprinkled her warm effect on him to soothe him. " There is no need to worry. We've got your back, especially me, as I was a witness in this whole mess." Ariah said to him. Drake then mentioned to him, "All I can say is just simply tell the truth no matter the outcome dude, I've seen how Odin is with trials. If he catches you lying about anything, it'll mean the end of your entire reputation and life. That could be your only way out of this mess, he may even let you off the hook on this."
Darcie then interrupted him to bring even more news, "Well, that is a probability but, Judge Odin has always had a giant dislike for us Mandelen's. Not to make anything worse than it is." She spoke to them. Mikado attempted to ease his worries with encouragement, saying," Babe, I know it's scary, but I think that's what would be best to do. I haven't paid any attention to how Odin has been running things, but I do know that Drake is right about what he spoke of. Speak nothing but the truth, hun." Taski's fear still gripped him tightly, his eyes were shaking terribly, his heart rate still continued drumming on. The five sat for a little while longer to await their buzz call to the courtroom, they sat and discussed each other's day and how things were beforehand. They then heard their buzz call from the office, they were then instructed to make their way to the courtroom to begin with the trial. Mikado and Ariah assisted him forward, while Darice and Drake marched behind them, there they had finally approached the judgement. Taski built up his courage and strength to stand before the judge, "(I'm not going to let anything stop me from fulfilling my dream.)" Taski thought to himself as he approached the courtroom.
