Chapter 5 - Shocking Discoveries

"Bring out your elders, or we'll destroy your village!" One of the men from Seth's group shouted as he unleashed his aura on some of the people in the area.

However, all the people of such a village could understand were strange sounds, as incomprehensible as a dog barking.

One of the elders of the Misty Woods Tribe soon realized that this was not the solution and said. "Shut up, Simon. Can't you see they don't understand us?"

"But... Elder, they could bring their elders to us."

"And what good would that do? We can't understand them either."

"That is indeed a problem," Atlas muttered while the younger ones looked at Seth.

The oldest of their group then looked at Seth and said. "This is in your hands, First Elder. How do you want us to solve it?"

The First Elder was not only the most respected and powerful figure in the Misty Woods Tribe, but in times of exception, whoever held this position was their supreme leader.

Seth clenched his fists. He didn't like having to decide everything himself, after all, there were people with different opinions. But he didn't want to fight his position and said.

"I will try something. Stand still, and don't make a fuss."

The most agitated people lowered their tempers and made space for Seth.

Seth looked around the village as his eyes lit up, noticing that these people weren't as talented as those in his home village.

'This is strange... Why don't these people have any powers?' His eyebrows knitted together as only he of his group could see this.

Unable to say who was the strongest, he simply looked for the eldest, who should have the most knowledge as well as the most respected position among these people.

That made him look toward a man dressed as a farmer, with white hair, a beard, and a mustache, many wrinkles on his face, and several warts on his wrinkled neck.

This person didn't look offensive in any way, but as far as they knew, anyone there could be their enemy.

Seth raised one of his hands toward the person and slowly opened it.

As he did so, the old man felt something strange on his body and then began to fly toward Seth's hand.

As this happened, everyone watching their group expressed astonishment, and it did not take long for them to lower their heads while muttering similar things.

'Sky people!'

'... Sky People...'

The people in Seth's group heard these two words repeated in the middle of their speech and noticed the fear they seemed to have of them.

No matter what language they used, feelings were universal. Emotions transcended words and could be understood by any intelligent being.

Seth's eyes narrowed as he realized this, and he looked deep into the eyes of the man who had stopped flying wildly when the dark-haired young man grabbed his neck.

"Who are you?" He asked in a serious tone, noticing how the old man's heart was racing.

"Speak to me. I am not your enemy unless you are mine."

As Seth spoke, he paid attention to the series of reactions inside this body, trying to read this man's emotions in order to understand what he was telling him.

"G g ecd lhk..."

The man began to say things that were incomprehensible to Seth's group, but every moment he spoke, the young black-haired man's expression changed.

Less than 10 minutes later...

"F g na dnan ken Seth." The tanned young man said to the man he was holding by the neck.

The moment Seth tried to speak the language of these people, the youths in his group took a step back in surprise, but the older and more powerful people knew what this person was capable of.

Seth could copy the innate abilities of others. Since they lived in harmony in the village of the Giant Island, he had dozens of abilities and powers from different generations, from the youngest to the oldest of the tribe.

Knowing this, elders like Atlas and Moses would never doubt Seth's abilities!

"My name is Seth." He said to the man who was called Ikh, a strange name to Seth but one that seemed to have a powerful meaning in this person's language.

"Seth? Have you learned our language?" The old man asked, his eyes trembling as he saw someone as mysterious and powerful as Seth for the first time in his life.

He was a mere mortal with no powers, just like everyone else in this village. But before coming here to live a quiet life, he had seen a lot of this world and met some relatively powerful people.

But none of them compared to this young man who looked younger than his grandson!

"Yes, you taught me. Thank you for that," Seth said, still looking seriously at the old man but less irritated by the people of this village because of Ihk's feelings. "My group came from a faraway place. We're looking for answers. Perhaps you have them."

"Answers?" The man felt Seth's language skills improve with each word, but he tried to pay attention to what these people, Sky People, wanted from them.

"How could we have answers that Sky People don't know? We don't know anything, Senior Seth. We're just farmers who live on this land. Please don't hurt us." Ihk said.

"Sky People? What's that?" Seth continued his dialog, while only the people of this village and he understood his words.

"You really don't know?" The old man looked into Seth's eyes and saw that he wasn't being tested. "In Eternity Haven, there are basically two types of beings—those with special abilities and those without it.

My tribe is the second type.

Your people are the first type." He said, pointing with one of his fingers.

"We humans without powers call those with powers Sky People. They are the world's minority, but they are the ones without limits, like the sky."

"I see. Among the Sky People, are they all like us?" Seth asked.

"Not at all. They have their own hierarchy determined by race, talent, type of power, you name it." The old man said, frowning at the fact that he was still being hanged.

Seth realized this and finally let go of the man before sitting down on the floor, motioning for Ihk to do the same.

"Hmm, you said we were in the Eternity Haven... What's that? Is that the name of the island we're on?"

Ihk was silent for a moment, seeing that this person was serious.

"You really don't know?"

Seth just shook his head negatively.

"This is the first time I've been in this situation. Until a moment ago, I thought everyone knew where they lived." Ihk shook his head and sighed. "But no, Eternity Haven is not an island. And we're not on an island either.

This is the mainland of Ihaes, or more precisely, the Vridor Dynasty, in the poorest area of the state, Belletham Timberland, in the province of Werton.

Eternity Haven is our realm, where the continent and everything that exists is."

Gulp!

"Are you serious?"

At first, Seth didn't understand Ihk, even though his command of the man's language was improving. But after a few explanations, the elder leader of this village managed to make him understand that there was a whole nomenclature behind their location.

That also existed on the Giant Island, but since he had never been to a continent, state, or province before, since none of these existed in the place he had left, it had taken him a while to understand.

But with less than 20 minutes of conversation, Seth understood his location.

"But... If there are all these places, then who attacked us? The people from this dynasty? From the continent?" He asked, realizing it wouldn't be easy to reach his enemies.

He and his people thought moments ago that everyone they met on their way was somehow part of the enemy forces.

But this society seemed to have different races, organizations, families, etc.!
