Chapter VIII: Chains
It then continues daily,
More chains are added to him,
A caged bird so seemingly,
No freedom to fly as slim.
The burden gets heavier,
As stones flew right at his chest,
Though no flow like a river,
But filled with plastic as stressed.
Still the dark, hast thou fallen?
Like Plato's allegory,
Thou blind men find what is stolen,
The light to see the glory.
As wounds then begin to heal,
It leaves a scar on the skin,
But cuts deep again to feel,
Bleeds anew and starts to spin.
For he was blinded by love,
Insulted and mocked by friends,
When will freedom reach thy dove,
That nothing comes from the ends.
"Tell that this is negative,
For God's sake! It's overthink,
Think y'all can stand so active,
Should begone within a blink.
Tell this is very awful,
When shall say don't care 'bout it,
Like a mountain so lawful,
Crumbled, reduced to a pit.
Why take away my humor?
From all breakdowns, and terror,
Darkness convert to horror,
I guess they spread the rumor.
Hast thou really understand?
Still trapped in lies and insults,
Like students that have been banned,
Not like the exam results.
Awkwardness thou shall maintain,
Tell me that I'm frightening,
Does my presence say I'm vain?
None my words struck like lightning.
Creepy, yes it is they say,
But why too fast to assume?
Know more of the person 'kay?
Yet still I say and resume.
What do I really mean here?
Is this just nonsense again?
There I say the key to clear,
Is make it up to my pain.
When this is done, locks be freed,
Forgiveness, and light be given,
But if not met well indeed,
Then nothing is forgiven.
A pawn waiting to be moved,
There sitting, no use at all,
Exposed as wounds start to bruised,
There might be no win and fall.
What if they were in my shoes?
What then will they ever feel?
Thy prisoner still have loose,
Yet thy chest became thy heel.
I was once in a breakdown,
But weights add up to my frown,
Are you glad, see me meltdown,
Then all you have reached the crown."
