(AN: I decided to change the way i write not just the characters name and then speech after so i can add more emotion into the character easily.)
A little over a year had passed since Sukiko first unlocked her chakra, and in that time, she had grown both in skill and understanding. Her days were filled with intense training.
One day, as they stood in their usual training clearing, Okada decided it was time to teach Sukiko her first real jutsu. She pulled out a small Chakra Paper and handed it to Sukiko.
Okada Gently Said "Suki, go and pour your Chakra into it."
As Sukiko poured her Chakra into the Piece of Paper The paper split in half on side of the paper quickly got wet and fell to the ground whilst the other side slowly also got wet but the edges started to ember and turned into dust before the wet part caught up. 2/3rds of the paper were now wet as the rest of it turned into ash.
Okada was Stunned for a bit by this but quickly regained her composure. "Suki, Your Main Affinity is Wind with Water being a close second. You also have a secondary Fire affinity. Unfortunately, I don't have a Fire and Water affinity and don't know any wind style Jutsu."
Okada took some time to think before she quickly decided. "Today, Suki, I'm going to teach you a very basic Fire Style Jutsu. The Fire Style: Ember Jutsu."
Sukiko nodded, her eyes alight with anticipation. "I'm ready, Mom."
"Good. First, focus on gathering your chakra," Okada instructed. "Feel it inside you, just like we've practiced. Then, mold it with the imagine it as a small spark, ready to ignite. Once you've done that, convert the chakra with the hand signs Ox and Tiger and release it."
Sukiko took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she concentrated. She could feel the familiar warmth of her chakra building within her, like a flame waiting to be kindled. Slowly, she molded it, visualizing it as a tiny ember in the center of her being.
When she felt it was ready, she opened her eyes and thrust her hands forward, releasing the chakra. A small burst of ash blew up in her face signaling she failed.
Thus she tried it several times more until her chakra was almost exhausted, yet at last she managed to create a tiny flame that she managed to push out to several feet in front of her.
Her heart raced with excitement—she had done it. Her first fire jutsu.
"Excellent work, Suki!" Okada praised, her voice filled with pride. "Keep practicing, and you'll master it in no time."
Sukiko beamed, her confidence bolstered by her success. "Thank you, Mom! I'll keep working on it!"
Exited Sukiko went for a walk in the village until she came back during the evening.
Sukiko was anxious because of the things she overheard during her walk in the village.
"Mom," Sukiko began, her voice hesitant. "I've been hearing more about the war lately… from the other villagers, and even when I'm out playing with Nagomo. What's really happening out there?"
Okada sighed deeply, her gaze fixed on the horizon. She had known this conversation would come eventually, but it didn't make it any easier.
"The war… it's tearing the world apart, Suki," Okada said softly, her voice tinged with sorrow. "The Great Five Shinobi Villages are locked in conflict, each one vying for power and control. The battles are fierce, and they're not just confined to the villages themselves. Smaller settlements like ours are caught in the crossfire, suffering the consequences of a war we have no part in."
"People are losing their homes, their families… their lives," Okada continued, her eyes filled with a sadness that Sukiko rarely saw. "The leaders of the villages are driven by their own ambitions, and the shinobi who fight for them… many are just following orders, trying to survive."
The Conversation ended ina few more minutes and sukiko decided to head to bed early today.
As Sukiko slowly fell asleep, Okada decided to go and visit Kuromuro and Sabuki. The war had made the future uncertain, and she needed to decide how best to protect her daughter.
She knocked on Their Door and asked to Chat, after a short talk she instantly went to the problem.
"The situation is getting worse," said Okada, her voice heavy with concern. "We've already seen more shinobi passing through the area, and it's only a matter of time before we're caught in the middle of a battle."
"I agree," said Kuromuro "We can't afford to stay here any longer. The village is too exposed, too vulnerable. We need to move to a safer location, somewhere the war won't reach us."
Sabuki nodded in agreement. "But where will we go? The roads aren't safe, and the larger towns are already overcrowded with refugees."
"How about we go to the Capital, we should be safe there." Said Okada with a bit of hopefulness.
They continued to discuss the logistics of the move, planning the best routes and how to transport everyone safely.
