Oh, glad to see you here. Let me introduce myself first. I am Silver, a half-human half-angel being and I am a slave of the Hero Jiro Tadashi, but currently, I work for a real angel.
Her name is Blanoir as my co-worker and close friend, Valentyn told me. He is an ancient vampire from a few thousand years ago, sealed within the first hero's holy sword in an isolated dungeon high up in the Great Northern Range.
Now, in my background's culture... well, rather my mother's, there is a legend that says the all-mighty god who governs this world is an angel like the rest of us. I was fascinated by this legend as a child and I am still quite intrigued by it today.
I ask myself things like
'How did an angel like him acquire that much power?'
'How can I be like him?'
And childish questions like that. The truth is, I'm not exactly brave or strong. Danger makes me want to hide under a rock, and I wouldn't even hurt a bug. I probably shouldn't be saying all this, but since all these important people suddenly being around my idol's dungeon... it doesn't really matter anyway. My secrets would pass through the ears of these people immediately even if someone overhears me.
But... it's alright to dream, isn't it? My mother always told me to dream of something good and even if life gets tough, don't give up and just remember that dream you hold dear.
Anyway, it's not like I have a real dream I want to pursue right now. I'm a mere slave of a hero, and I should be proud of that. Lord Jiro, although he might not seem like it, with his attitude, is extremely kind towards those he trusts, and from my observations, it looks like he only trusts his slaves.
I feel thankful that he trusts us and treats us with care, kindness and appreciation for those like me who don't fit into society. He bought me only a month ago when he says he "arrived" here from "another world", something that I do not understand, but I won't pry into my master's personal life.
Oh! I also must say that Lord Jiro is incredibly kind to species that are usually oppressed within Orth, and would even defend us when another hero mocks or hurts me or anyone else in master's possession.
I mean... I don't know how to feel when another hero of Orth mocks me. On one side, it makes me happy to be acknowledged by such a powerful and important figure in one of the six major countries, but on the other hand, I still have my emotions, proof that I'm more or less the same as humans. I feel conflicted by that.
I should really try and mimic what my idol does. She's a dungeon master, a role usually reserved for those who are the "strong" and only the "strong". I think due to her strength, she doesn't feel threatened by the presence of heroes, unlike me, who's weak and strives to be acknowledged by the "strong".
I know, I know. it's a really plain and simple motive. But the fact remains... I just want to be recognised for what I do. Maybe I would... soon.
