After being distracted, Hera accidentally took her shot.
Whoosh...
"Ah..." Hera reacted.
The ball missed, and Luke slowly extricated himself from Hera, flashing a stunning smile.
"Ah! Luke, that was cheating!" Dave was the first to react, his eyes wide with surprise. He thought Luke might be taking advantage of Hera or was somehow jealous of Xavier.
After all, he had noticed Xavier's smug smile earlier. Dave had been ready to kick Xavier in the rear to teach him a lesson for acting smug, but now he watched in disbelief as Luke leaned in close to Hera, acting so intimately with her.
He wanted to stop him, considering they were still in front of the camera. But then he saw Hera miss for the first time since they started playing.
As the only female in the group, they had given her the courtesy of opening the game.
