Sitting up in his bed and letting out a small grunt of pain, Torus rested against the backrest and listened to the loud thumps of footsteps that continued to make their way down the hall toward him.
Letting out a gasp, Torus couldn't help but feel as if his head were about to explode, a pounding headache taking root within it. This was caused by the sudden influx of information, as not only was Torus taking in the sound of footsteps outside the hall, but of the noise all around the hospital building.
But not only was he being overwhelmed by the sounds, but also by the smell, the distinct scent of disinfectant coming across as far stronger to his senses. The smell seemingly enough to cause one to become nauseous.
Luckily, it appeared that the hospital he was in was a rather remote one considering there was far less noise than would typically be occurring within a hospital, sparing Torus from immediately passing out from the sensory overload that would result.
Still, Torus couldn't help but to feel overwhelmed as his senses were flushed with an abundance of new perceptions, the sights, sounds and smells he was currently feeling nearly proving to be too much.
Little did he know, Torus was in for another shock to the system as the door to his room slowly slid open. Standing before him in her traditional battle dress, was Torus' master.
Eyes widening in incredulity, Torus couldn't believe the sight before his eyes. This shock stemmed from the fact the person's footsteps he could hear walking the hallways were his Masters', and from such a far distance away at that.
Typically, Torus could hear the footsteps of most members of the village from a decently far distance due to the harsh training he underwent; however, his Master and a couple other Warriors within the village could be viewed as an exception to this. This was because, as Warriors, this group had trained themselves to move at a far quieter pace than ordinary people.
Their movement was so quiet in fact, that Torus found it relatively challenging to even hear their footsteps from up close. It was to a point where when he was younger, a point of training that Torus underwent was trying to track sounds made by his Master as she circled around him, throwing stones at the direction he thought she'd be at in an attempt to hit her.
So, what Torus had already recognized as an increase to his already incredibly honed senses, turned out to be far greater than he had expected. Distracted as he was, Torus didn't realize something was amiss until it was too late, being knocked out of his thoughts at a sudden stinging sensation on his forehead.
Rubbing at the spot and letting out a hiss of pain, Torus glanced up toward where the sense of pain came from. Finding the sitting form of his Master next to him, Torus' indignant expression immediately died off as he sat up ramrod straight, nearly frightened into tears at the expression upon his precious masters' face.
Where the smile that seemed to complement her already ethereal looks usually sat, Torus now came face-to-face with a frown that could move nearly any man to action, a certain degree of chiding contained within it.
However, this expression quickly morphed into a look of worry as she looked over Torus, shocked at the response she'd gotten from such a minor flick to the forehead.
What Sofia had failed to take into consideration however, was that with the increase to his senses, pain had also been enhanced. After letting out a concerned, "Are you okay?" Sofia's expression once more morphed into its look of indignance upon the confirmation from her student that he was a-okay.
"Did you hear anything I just said?" Sofia asked her wayward student, a small amount of disapproval seeping into her tone as she gave him a strict glare.
Not daring to lie in this situation, Torus admitted truthfully to his Master, voice seeming to be pleading for forgiveness, "No master, I was distracted by some changes I noticed. I appear to have gained far sharper senses, I could even hear Master's footsteps as you were walking down the hall," Torus stated, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
Expression lightening a bit, even if it still contained a hint of disapproval, Sofia gave a slow nod at her disciple.
Still, not finding her student's answer completely satisfactory, Sofia opened her mouth to reply, "Well, if you had been listening to me, it would become immediately apparent what the cause of those changes was. Now then, if you'd like to know why you've developed such a sharp increase in senses, I suggest you start paying attention," She said, countenance remaining in its stern fashion.
Here, her expression morphed into a look of worry once more however, as she stopped and seemed to rub at her chin, "Still, I moved you to this hospital as I expected an increase to your senses and I hoped with the rather remote part of the village this is in that you might find it a bit more manageable." Getting to here, Sofia stopped speaking, allowing her mind to come up with a plan around this issue.
Nodding, Torus focused his attention on his Master, trying to convey a brave front; while Torus had previously shown some forms of weakness to his Master, he still had his pride as a male that wouldn't allow her to view him as weak.
Soon however, Torus realized that focusing his attention on her as much as he had been, may have been a bit more of a mistake than he had originally anticipated. The reason for this was that he had simply forgotten about his increased senses, having just gained them and all.
And as such, focusing so heavily on his beautiful Master, Torus began to notice the slight trace of a natural fragrance that seemed to waft off of her, the way her skin seemed to flush in the light, and how her plump lips seemed so kissable at that moment.
His eyes eventually settled on watching her slender neck as he noticed the minute movements of it, listening to the light sound of her rhythmic breathing. Soon, Torus felt as another part of his body also began to slowly stand at-attention at the sight of his truly breathtaking Master.
Still, even in his current state, Torus managed to listen to the lesson his teacher was imparting to him.
As he watched her throat however, Torus nearly let out a full body shudder at the sight of her swallowing her saliva, the seemingly innocuous sight of her throat slightly protruding before returning to its normal state seeming to have a far more seductive effect than one might expect on the young Torus, the young man acting as if he were still in the throes of puberty.
As this continued on, Torus' breathing began to come out in rough short spurts that sounded almost like huffs, his fists clenching the bedsheets below him as his cock continued on its rise to full mast unimpeded.
Either oblivious to or just ignoring his plight, Sofia continued her speech, Torus' mind still storing the information even if he were truly only paying a little attention to the words she spoke.
This all stopped however, as a particular set of words came out of her mouth that snapped Torus out of his lust-induced haze, an entirely different kind of excitement filling him at the words, "...so considering you've awoken your God Seed, our training regiment will be changing going forward," Sofia stated simply.
Before she could continue on any further however, Sofia found herself interrupted by her impertinent disciple, an almost child-like excitement seeming to take hold of him, "Wait, Master, you said I awoke my God Seed? When did that happen? What is it? Is it powerful?!" At the barrage of questions, Sofia could only let out the barest hint of irritation, her eyebrows flickering down into a furrowed expression.
While she felt a small amount of irritation, these feelings quickly fleeted; after all, Sofia had reacted in much the same way when she had awoken her God Seed all those years ago.
Letting out a fond sigh at her one and only disciple, Sofia smiled at Torus in a way as if appeasing a child, ceasing the barrage of questions at once as Torus seemed to silently sit before her, his body still seeming to be slightly vibrating in suppressed excitement.
"In order, yes, you have awoken your God Seed. It happened in our training spar two days ago. I cannot say what it is as it isn't something I've ever encountered before, maybe even being a new type entirely. Yes, I'd say it is quite powerful; however, it is far too powerful for the current you, even just using the God Seed currently would cause you to have to suppress your own instincts too much for it to be useful," She listed out calmly.
As she answered his questions one-by-one, Sofia could see as her disciple's expression seemed to grow in excitement, only being stymied by the latter half of her sentence. However, Sofia noticed that rather than being dejected by her words, Torus seemed to instead view them as some form of challenge.
At this, she couldn't help but to gain a soft smile, glad not for the first time that she had such a talented and hard-working disciple. Still, feeling a bit worried that Torus might do something a bit stupid in his rush to explore his power further, Sofia finished concluding her reasons for visiting him in a far more serious tone.
"Listen to me Torus, I need you to promise me that you won't use your God Seed without my supervision. It is far too dangerous a power not to have some form of safety net to reel it in when needed. As I said, you currently don't have the mental fortitude or experience required to suppress your instincts; as such, we will begin an all-new training regimen specifically designed to help you achieve a basic form of mastery over your God Seed before even thinking of letting you leave this town," Sofia spoke, her tone very serious as she stared directly into his eyes.
Hearing this, Torus' eyes seemed to gain a determined light, one that seemed to cause a small smile to appear at the edges of Sofia's mouth. While she would never admit it out loud, those enchanting eyes of her disciples always had a way of cheering her up, especially with the aura of determination that was currently overflowing off of the young man.
Gaining a determined glint, Torus replied, "I promise, master!" The words came out of Torus' mouth with a deep sincerity, seeming to truly capture Torus' seriousness at the promise.
Letting out a beautiful smile at her disciples words, Sofia got up and began to head toward the door. However, as she reached for the handle, Sofia couldn't help but to get the sudden urge to tease her disciple a bit before leaving.
As such, Sofia turned back to her disciple, nearly missing the way his head seemed to shoot up, meeting her eyes as if a deer caught in headlights, "Oh yes, before I forget, you shouldn't blatantly ogle a lady from now on Torus, some might take offense to that. Luckily, I'm reasonable and won't demand much from you, only a bit of teasing." She stated, a slight crinkling to her eyes as she made her leave.
