Lisa closed the door as the electric wheelchair swooshed into the room.
She hurried to stand next to the wheelchair. "This is Chris, our first drummer."
Both Jason and Abel exchanged uncertain looks.
When Abel first saw the wheelchair at the door, he had thought it was maybe a staff member from the facility.
He never could have expected Lisa's introduction.
'What was this girl smoking?' Abel thought as he quickly got up, eager to stop things before they got out of hand.
"Oh... that was fast... sorry, Chris, can you give us a few minutes?" Abel asked as he came around from the desk.
It was Lisa who answered for him.
"Oh, totally cool... sorry," she said as she began to push the guy out, even though he clearly didn't need help.
"Need your help too, Lisa," Abel called after her.
"Yeah... be right back," she said as she pushed the wheelchair into the anteroom.
