If anyone could have heard the harmony of melodies emanating from the three-bedroom apartment, they might have thought Imagine Dragons were doing a rock rendition of their song 'Demons' .
There wasn't the slightest flaw discernible, nor a pause that indicated it was a practice session.
But it was.
This was almost the twentieth try the two friends had gone through before arriving at such perfection.
"Damn, bro… that shit is fire," Jason exclaimed merrily as the final notes of the rendition faded.
He reached out to his laptop and paused the drum sequence that was still playing.
"Imagine if we had an actual drummer," Abel pointed out the only flaw in the setup.
They had been alternating the role of lead vocalist, but Jason, though he could sing, mostly performed as the lead guitarist.
