Abel's heart was hammering from adrenaline-fueled excitement. He watched from a short distance as the restaurant's manager beamed at Hilsa.
Despite the commotion that her unannounced visit had caused them, they did not seem to mind.
Shortly, the two of them were ushered into a private and lushly furnished lounge.
Abel looked around in surprise. This place was too big for just two people, but from the looks of it, that was exactly what it was meant for.
"Thank you so much," Hilsa said to the man as he left the room.
The moment they were alone, Hilsa rushed toward the expansive balcony.
"Can you believe it… all this view for nothing," she said as Abel joined her.
The view was indeed great. From where they were, they could see the night starlit beauty of San Francisco city.
It was breathtaking.
