The few minutes Hilsa said she'd need to change stretched into nearly an entire hour. By the time she opened the door, it was well past 9 p.m.
Abel was on the phone with the Uber driver, who was growing impatient from the wait. He agreed on the additional waiting charges and hung up.
"Sorry, I just couldn't make up my mind," Hilsa said apologetically, catching the end of his conversation.
"It's fi..." Abel started to reply, but his words faltered when he looked up and saw her dress.
Hilsa had put on a beautiful pink velvet dress, fitting her figure elegantly, with a sophisticated cut that made it look like it had been tailored just for her .
The dress flowed gracefully down to her knees, while the sleeves were off-shoulder. This time around she had put on a blonde wig that fell over her shoulders,completely hiding her real hair .
