"Fuck," Jason breathed out a sigh. "You had me worried there," he said, looking at Abel. Abel's eyes had become a bit more responsive, though his body still appeared rigid.
Jason rushed back to the glass door and peered outside once more.
Still no one, but the lady was beginning to stir.
He heaved her up and walked back inside the office with her. It was better if she stayed close.
Back in the office, Jason scanned around. "Thank God," he said when he saw a water dispenser at one end.
He rushed over and disconnected the nearly full water can. With no cup or mug in sight, he grabbed a tin full of pills, dumped its contents onto the counter, and rinsed it several times before filling it with water.
