It wasn't like he didn't understand the law of world level before, but the breakthrough in 'Sword World' was completely different from your usual breakthrough.
He felt almost omnipotent like everything was within his control; he had the absolute say, and even the other laws seemed to bend to his will, like he could forcefully control other laws that he didn't understand within his sword world.
