With a strong oriental feel, the room wafted with the scent of wood and flowers, creating a tranquil atmosphere. A man of high standing, whom they referred to as the master.
Seated behind a magnificent desk, surrounded by touches of art that exuded elegance. His long, shiny silver hair framed his face which contrasted with his black-silky kinagashi. A calm violet eye full of wisdom, revealed a layer of clarity when I entered his room.
" Go away!" that man smiled, not losing his friendly hue.
'Whaaaaat?'
After days of having to deal with perverted mannequins, being scolded so severely by Wey that even I wasn't wrong. It had been a long time since I had wrestled and pinned down a man who was bigger than me until I was confident enough to face the master and defeat him. But now...
'Could I have left so quickly without doing anything? I felt like it was a waste of all the effort I had put in!'
"Please forgive my impoliteness, Master. My name is Clara and Ms. Wey sent me to serve you," I said as I tried to read his facial expression.
The atmosphere of silence was palpable between us. I tried to be polite to him since he was the most powerful one in this unknown world. But he was silent, not responding to me. His gaze was blank, making me feel even more uncomfortable. My mind raced, had I done or said something wrong? Or was he not interested? It felt like we were stuck in an unspoken silence, with no clear way out. I was hoping this would be the way to break the ice
I tried to find a topic of conversation," Er…What about I played a twinkle-twinkle little star with shamisen for you? I heard you're like Shamisen"
I smiled awkwardly while holding Shamisen which I had taken from the music room.
'Please don't give me a silent treatment!'
" You don't have to do it, this is my order!"
I still couldn't believe it, this guy in front of me was the original manifestation of Dave, who was very aggressive in bed. Unlike Dave, he seemed very calm and didn't seem interested in anything related to sexuality.
But what really surprised me was that he blatantly kicked me out before I said a word in this room, since my arrival two minutes ago.
"Pardon me, um...Master, is there something wrong with me?"
"There is nothing, I just don't feel like having sex with you."
His piercing words made it clear that I had no charms. As if I was the ugliest woman he had ever met. It hurt, okay? especially when he said it while smiling. Even though I had been dressed up by Wey's subordinates for six hours, wearing these layers of kimono-like clothes for two hours.
'What did I get? It was the most humiliating insult I had ever received!'
A gentle smile was etched on Master's lips, creating a friendly atmosphere despite the undeniable elegance in his demeanor.
"Firstly, don't call me Master, It's Jun Takaguchi but I prefer you to call me Jun."
"Secondly, you have nothing to apologize for, Miss. I'm glad you came," he replied, while his hands crossed tactfully on the table.
"Thirdly, I want you not to misunderstand me, it's not that you're unattractive. It's just that I don't like to 'eat' what's not mine" the master continued.
The man carefully dispelled any doubts and began a conversation that embraced warmth. "I know that you have questions that need to be addressed about your current situation. However, it seems that this is not the right time."
"Okay Jun, you're making me even more confused"
"To be honest, I feel like a fool since I came here."
"All I know for sure is that right now, you're the man in charge here and I'm sure you know the answer."
The man smiled again, not losing his friendly hue, but I heard him whispering and grumbling with my attitude that turned informal to him.
"The time will come, but right now, I need you to understand that there are many things that cannot be revealed yet."
Jun is one of the people on the list of people I want to kill right now. Why do people here love to create riddles? Why are they reluctant to explain? At least tell me what world this is. What's going on? And why do I have to serve this pervert who looks like a hermit?
I didn't want to listen to any more excuses or bland explanations. Boldly, I called his bluff while firmly grabbing his collar. "Answer my question right now or I won't let you go!"
Jun only smiled gently, but his gaze was full of unwavering affirmation. "I apologize, but I will not be swayed by threats. The right moment will come, and all will be revealed. Now, I hope you can let me go and understand my decision."
With a heart filled with disappointment and tension, I looked at Jun with a sharp gaze. "Why won't you give me a clear answer? What are you hiding from me?" I urged, voice filled with irritation and dissatisfaction.
Jun looked at me with wisdom, undeterred by my threats. "Miss Clara, I beg you to reflect for a moment. Forcing an answer from me is not the right path. The decisions I make have deep reasons, and I hope you can respect them. In return, I will send you back."
However, my unsatisfied resentment and desire for answers kept me stubborn. With my breath caught, I stared at him sharply, ready to follow through on my bluff.
"At least tell me, what world is this bastard!"
Jun sighed, then he said, "A creature like you doesn't need to know this world in detail, you were part of an accident and I'm going to fix it."
Jun began to stretch out his hand, a glowing point of light emanating from the tip of his index finger. Then she made a pattern in the air until an abstract symbol was formed that could open a portal.
"If you want to fix all this so badly, I want you to let those souls that you are holding back get reincarnated quickly," I replied intending to keep my promise.
"They will remain my subordinates until the competition is over. Besides, they don't want to leave here" Jun replied haughtily. The look in her eyes changed drastically, just like Dave's that I had seen so many times.
Before I could get a definite answer to all my questions, the portal hole that formed had already sucked me in, and I was annoyed and cursing Jun, Wey, and Hestia. They were responsible for all the trouble I was going through right now.
'Wait! This is all Darius' doing! That son of a bitch!'
He should have sent me back to camp immediately, then none of this nonsense would have happened to me!
In the long journey of the passage of time, I, whose body felt torn into tiny particles, pondered.
On second thought. What Jun said is true, I feel that Wey has no intention of returning. Seeing how she behaved and trained me. It reminds me of the last day when I trained with her.
[The last day of training with Wey]
.
.
"ACK! Please stop it!"
" What? Is that how you beg? Have you forgotten how to say it?" I said with arrogance.
As an extra punishment, I added my strength and pulled his arm back making Dave cry.
*Sob* *Sob*
"M-master, please stop! I don't want this anymore" Dave sobbed begging for mercy.
" Why? Don't you like to do some 'training' with me?" I pulled his arm tighter
*boo hoo!*
Hearing the commotion, Wey hurried over to us and opened the barrier portal he had created.
"Can you stop brawling like you're in the sparring area, Clara?" Wey scolded angrily.
"THIS IS THE 15TH TIME YOU'VE BEEN LIKE THIS!"
I sat on Dave whose right hand was twisted behind his back. Breathing heavily, I tried to break Dave the mannequin's arm with all my might.
"You said that I could do it however I wanted," I replied innocently.
"Gosh!"
"Of all the souls I've trained, you are the toughest to teach!"
"Didn't I give you an example yesterday? Why are you still using this method again, Hm?" she said disappointedly.
