As The Royal Fortune swung around to the temple hidden on top of a mountain, Kiola grabbed both Mammy and Ayre before leaping off and flying down. Everyone else began preparing a feast in the meantime, since it would most likely be a few hours before the three returned.
However, Nvr and Lucy decided to pay Pit a visit in the brig. As the monster hunter slept peacefully in the rusted cell, his warden banging chains against the wall quickly woke him. "Oh great... What do you two want."
"You will tell me everything Midas knows about my city." Lucy answered with a crooked grin, laughing manically for her own pleasure at having the chance at playing with a prisoner again.
"G-Gods it's cold..." Ayre whispered, shaking from the sheer cold of the blizzard that surrounded them. Kiola had luckily landed them only a short distances walk away from the temple, yet that did little to stop the freezing cold elf from complaining as they walked.
With little to do on the way, Kiola began naming every type of animal she could think of. It passed the time, and soon enough Ayre had joined in.
After the incredibly short an uneventful walk through the snow, the three were just outside the temple. Yet something felt off.
The stone doors that kept the inhabitants of the temple were left wide open, in fact, they looked as though they had been charred by a blast of fire. "That ain't good..." Kiola remarked as they stepped inside.
The building was rather majestic in its simplicity. A stone pathway led them down a gigantic hall filled with statues of some hooded goddess. If Kiola wasn't here on Lucy's request, she probably would have stole the place... Well, she was actually thinking of just stealing it right now, but first came Lucy's aunt... or whatever.
Then again, when you have statues built in your name... You don't exactly want trespassers in your domain. So I ask you my l ask you my mortal...
*Deal with those anomalies NOW!*
"What the hell was that?" The twins asked in unison, but Markeeth gave a casual wave in response. "Our boss isn't happy. Such a lazy, no good, rotten, basement borddess." he snickered. Yet if he knew what was good for him, he'd get his ass to-
"Alright, alright, alright. I'll go deal with the anomalies. You two go and find whatever anomaly is here and ya know... Do what you do. I'll deal, handle and light a candle for our new guests." He sighed, not wanting to do the job I specifically told him to handle.
I guess when you make a pact with a man with no home, this is the best you get. And I know he's listening to me, every word. But after all, dear... You entered my temple.
"Yeah... Let's be quick about it. Ratta tat rat, your with me." He sighed, grabbing Mollia's hand and running back towards the entrance to deal with my intruders.
"Woah, check it out! I reckon this'd look great on the ship!" Kiola pointed to a large tree in the centre of the great hall. It was quite a nice tree, after all, I grew it.
Mammy suddenly began to beep wildly, detecting something moving at a blinding speed towards them. "I detect multiple opponents approaching. Be on guard." The radar spoke as she lifted her bangs to reveal her single golden eye.
Ayre swiftly reached for his bow, getting ready for the approaching brawl. Kiola was a bit caught off guard but took a deep breath, preparing her mist for whatever was to come. Because, Markeeth, they are right beside my tree.
I recommend you blitz the dragon first. She is the biggest threat from what I can guess. Granted, I'm a god. It's not so much a guess as it is fact.
"So full of yourself!" Markeeth yelled as he leapt from the shadows, landing on Kiola's back. "What the hell!?" She yelled, slamming her back into a wall. He let out a slight grunt of pain as in the meantime, Ayre lined up a shot.
"I don't think so." Mollia smirked before punching the young elf around the face, making him stagger back. The paladin turned over to Mammy, getting a familiar feeling about her. "Might wanna dodge?" Rat said as Mollia got lost in her thoughts, failing to realise that Ayre was more resilient then she first thought.
Getting a quick stab to the stomach from the Elf, who had seemingly created a dagger from a piece of rock.
"So slow, Molly." Markeeth snickered as Kiola was trying her best to shake off the witch doctor. "GET OFF ME, YE BASTARD!" The dragon yelled, running head first for... *MARKEETH, MY TREE! STOP HER NOW!*
Oh you prick.
In Kiola's reckless attack that my idiotic mortal failed to realise was even happening, the dragon split my favourite tree in half...
"Oh, sorry, apologies, forgive me." The bastard said sarcastically... Yet he knew that my word was right, the dragon proved to be the biggest threat in the room. With a quick stamp of his cane against the dragon's back, he unleashed a torrent of flames as he leapt off her, landing a few feet away as the dragon let out a roar of laughter.
"I'm fire resistant!" She cackled, seeming embolden by the flame as she charged directly at him. Yet Zanir couldn't help but join in her laughter. "You're resistant... Not immune." He slammed his cane down again, suddenly, hundreds upon hundreds of arrows created out of flames shot directly towards the dragon.
With her quick wit, Kiola used her mist to enlarge her arm to an unwieldy size, blocking most of the shots. It still hurt like hell though, and I must say, it is riveting to watch.
Though the drunken mistake my mortal made with my power wasn't fairing well against the simple child of an elf. He was surprisingly agile, yet the rodent was weak... In her current state.
*My mortal, do you care if I grant your little ex her power back?*
"Knock yourself out." The doctor laughed, engrossed in his battle with the dragon. Yet I know you better than that. You could merely wipe the floor with her if you used your true strength... Why hold back?
"Because I'm amusing, enjoying and playing with myself."
You could rephrase that last one. But I guess it's time I help out.
As the two halves of the rodent continued her tedious battle against Ayre, I just simply ask you...
Do you wish to be able to fight like you once did?
Both Rat and Mollia were confused on what the voice said, yet with little option and not wanting to face such a humiliating loss, they agreed to my word. The two watched as I simply ripped her heart from her chest, letting float a bit ominously for a moment.
My, even the elf seems stunned. I suppose this is what happens when I have to show off a little. Oh how easily I get distracted by my own voice. Yet I invoke my power unto thy heart and remove the bullet between space and time.
In my name, Ennuiara, I give the little hero her title and power back. Go fourth, my paladin and show these fools who guides you!
As Mollia and Rat watched as their heart was healed from the Heartbreak Hero's bullet. I think it's quite amusing seeing their little face light up as I put it in-
What...
What happened...
I saw a radiant light...
I heard a beautiful chant...
I felt a tender warmth...
Yet... Nothing is here in my own realm.
