The crowd yelled and screamed as a man walked up a wooden stage where a wooden cross was placed with a rope tied around it. He was placed on the cross and tied up. "Father," I muttered. As the crowd went wild.
A man with pointed ears dressed in only rags head hung as blood dripped from every inch of his body where cuts and wounds were. Tears trickled down my face and I was about to scream when I saw my face looked deep into my eyes as if he was telling me to keep quiet.
"Our god has cast his judgment." A person in armor walked up holding a touch. And I watched as my father was burnt at the stake because of the "crime" he committed. I flew up just as the doors to my room opened.
"Princess his majesty is calling for you." I got up at once and the maid stomped up to me and grabbed my hand roughly. "Don't keep the elven king waiting." She dragged me off.
The maid's nails dug into my skin but I didn't show an ounce of pain on my face as my dress was being soaked by my blood. The wooden door opened and the majestic throne room was displayed in front of me. However, it was something I've grown to be disgusted by.
"Your Majesty Princess Moris!" A guard announced.
I saw a man with long blond hair and pink eyes, a symbol of the elven lineage. The man looked down on me and I looked back at him with the same pink eyes but instead of blond hair mine was black.
"Uncle." I was going to continue but he stopped me right in my tracks.
"IT'S KING TO YOU!" he yelled.
"You're not no king, you're a lord under the gods command."
"Yes, but if it wasn't for your father we would have been assigned as the king, but he had to bring upon the rebels."
"At least he wasn't afraid like you."
"And look at where it got him, he is now a fallen angel."
"My father may be a fallen angel now but he was the only person that stood up to that god."
"And that's why he's dead!" He yelled, his voice vibrating through the whole throne room. He noticed that he was too loud so he exhaled. "Since your father decided to go against the god, the elven people are now not in the god's good book."
"We don't need to be in his good book, we need a new god!" I countered.
I got up and all the guards ran to contain me. "Take her back to her room and lock her up." They turned around and pulled me back to my room. Ever since that god took over everything for this realm has gone down hill.
I sat on my bed and not soon after a man sneaked in. I ran and jumped on him. "Nips!!" I exclaimed as I jumped a bit but spun me around. I smiled and laughed but he put me down and saw my bleeding arm.
"Come, let's go get this all healed." He walked over to my dressing table.
"Sorry, I just couldn't let my uncle say that about my father."
"It's ok." he pulled out some bandages out of his pockets. "Just don't do it again. I can't let you die, it was your father's last wish."
I smiled a bit but it slowly turned into tears. "Why did he do that?"
He wiped my tears. "Because he believed that we deserve a chance to live free and not under that god." After a while, I was all bandaged up. "Did you know that the Elipsa kingdom's youngest leader was sent off because he was the one that "helped" the rebel?"
