(Levar Point of View)
After what feels like an hour, I hear someone come into the room. I stopped struggling a while ago when my wrist started bleeding. I am blindfolded so I can't see where I am. I have just been sitting here in pain as I quietly cry. I look up to where I hear the person. They only took a few steps in before pausing. What is happening? Are they confused? What is going on? I hear the person step out of the room and close the door. After a few more minutes, I hear the person come back in, untie me and then pick me up. They smell like strawberries. I hold onto them as they carry me. I am too tired from crying, panicking, bleeding, stress from all of this and from the pain in my wrist. I lay my head on their shoulder.
"Everything is going to be okay now." I hear the person mumble. They almost sound like Asaka, but what would she be doing here? I guess I also don't know where here is or what her job is so maybe this is normal or it's just my head messing with me. I soon end up passing out.
When I wake up, I am in a pretty big bedroom. The room is mainly red and gold. The bed looks bigger than my bed. The room does look nice. There is a night stand on either side of the bed, two dressers, thick red curtains, a room labeled clothes, another room labeled bathroom and then another door that isn't labeled. The floor has a red carpet. Both of my wrists are bandaged up. There is a note on the bedside table with some water and a bottle of pills. I pick up the note to read it. It looks like there are several erasing marks.
"Darling,
I will explain more to you on what happened but for now, have some painkillers and some water. Don't leave the room until I get back. I want to make sure you are safe and alright. After all, you were just kidnapped. I did wrap up your wrist and put some antibiotic cream on your wounds. Hopefully you will feel better soon. I'll be back as soon as possible. Make sure you take the meds and drink the water.
From Asaka."
So Asaka did bring me to her place. She has a very nice place. It's a lot better than I could ever afford in my lifetime. I take two of the painkillers and then I drink all of the water. I lay down on the bed as I wait for the meds to kick in and/or Asaka to come back.
I can't help but to wonder why she helped me. Did I make it up to her? How will I be able to repay her for this? After all, I don't want to be in debt to a killer. But then again, would a killer save me? I doubt it but she was so feared when she first came in and I rarely see them act like that. Endless, it's someone that I should fear as well.
Soon, I hear someone walking to the unlabeled door. I sit up on the bed and I look over at the door. Asaka comes in without a shirt and wow she has nice abs. I do my best to not stare at her very hot body. I can feel my face become slightly red. She does have a bra on and gym shorts. Why must she show so much skin? I'm not complaining but this is too much for me to take. I just need to start at her short brown hair and her green eyes. After all, she has some blond in her hair and her eyes look like emeralds. They are so pretty.
Asaka walks up to me and feels my forehead. "It's good to see that you are awake. Your face is red. I can't tell if that is blushing or if you have gotten sick. You do feel hot."
Oh, great, now I am blushing more. "I am blushing ma'am. I don't believe I have gotten sick."
Asaka smiles at me and then backs up slightly. She sits down on the bed. "That's good. How are you? I see you had all of your water, which is good."
"I am good. My wrist don't hurt anymore. I feel better."
"Good. I'm sure your wrist is going to take a few days to heal so you should rest."
"I can do that ma'am, but I must ask, why did you help me?"
"Well, I am a police officer. I am on the case of the missing women at your work. We got a lead so I went to the place that I was told the suspect is, where I saw your coworkers and when I saw you, I was surprised and confused. After all, I thought that whoever is doing this was just going after women but for some reason they took you so my boss called your work and had it shut down for a little bit until we can find out what happened fully. We don't want anyone else to die." She smiles at me as she closes her eyes as she speaks.
Okay. That explains a lot and criminals most likely won't want to be around a police officer. I guess I don't have to be as scared of her as I am. "That makes sense, but would I still get paid? After all, I still need to eat and pay rent."
Asaka smiles at me. "Don't worry about that. You will be staying with me but yes, you will still get paid."
I look up at her in surprise. "I'm staying here?"
"Yes, you are. Didn't I say that the first time?"
"You might have. I was more focused on the police officer part."
"That makes sense. Now, what would you like to eat?"
I pause for a moment, thinking. "Can I make something to eat for us? As a thank you that is. For saving me and letting me stay with you."
Asaka looks at me in shock. I guess she wasn't expecting me to ask. I see her smile at me. "I don't see why not but I would like to help. After all, you don't know where everything is and I don't want you to get hurt. I have things like sugar and flour on the table sleeves. But just so you know, you don't need to thank me. It's part of my job."
"Thank you. Your help would be helpful. Plus, I want to do this for you." I pause for a second. "Do you like muffins?" Something I have thought about was making her muffins and people eat muffins for breakfast. Wait, is it breakfast time? I think so but I'm not quite sure because of how thick the curtains are.
"Yes, I do. I might have some chocolate chips you can add if you want to."
I smile at her. "That sounds good."
