Chapter 4 - Chapter 3

Alice walked through the bustling streets of her city, taking in the sights and sounds. The narrow streets were packed with people, and the smells of food and spices filled the air.

The buildings were tall and imposing, with bright neon signs and colorful banners draped across their facades. Alice could see the outlines of mountains in the distance, and the sound of a nearby river provided a constant backdrop to the buzz of the city.

Despite the crowds, Alice felt a sense of peace wash over her. She is scared to leave her old life behind, but she was excited for the new adventures that lay ahead.

The next day was a difficult one for Alice. She had to say goodbye to her aunt, the woman who had provided her with comfort and support during the darkest moments of her life. The thought of leaving her behind made her heart ache, but she knew that she had to move on.

As Alice sat in her aunt's living room, she felt a sense of sadness wash over her. This was the moment she had been dreading, the moment when she had to say goodbye to her aunt.

Her aunt put a comforting hand on Alice's shoulder, and Alice could feel the tears welling up in her eyes. "I know this is hard, Alice," her aunt said softly. "But I want you to know that I am always here for you, no matter where you are. You're like a daughter to me, and I'll always love you."

Alice hugged her aunt tightly, feeling the warmth and love that her aunt had always shown her. She knew that this wasn't the last time they would see each other, but it was still hard to say goodbye.

As Alice walked out of the house, she turned back for one last look at her aunt, waving to her from the porch. She knew that this was the beginning of a new chapter in her life, but she also knew that the memories of her aunt and the love they had shared would always be with her.

Alice sat in her seat on the train, looking out the window at the passing scenery. She had just said goodbye to her aunt, and now she was on her way to her new home in Tokyo.

As the train rolled along, she noticed a man across the aisle from her, who seemed to be taking pictures. At first, Alice didn't think anything of it, but then she noticed him pointing his phone camera at a young woman a few rows ahead.

Alice watched as the young woman got up to leave her seat, and the man quickly put his phone away. Alice's curiosity was piqued, and she decided to ask him what he was doing.

With a deep sense of unease, Alice leaned forward and spoke up. "Excuse me, are you taking pictures of that woman?" she asked.

The man's face contorted in anger, and he barked, "Me? No, I wasn't taking pictures of her!" The young woman, who had turned at the sound of Alice's voice, now looked in their direction with confusion.

The man, clearly feeling cornered, then tried to make a break for it. But as he rose from his seat, a boy sitting beside him stuck out his leg and tripped him up. The man fell flat to the ground, his phone flying from his grasp.

Quick as a flash, the boy picked up the man's phone and walked over to Alice, offering it to her. "Here," he said, his voice emotionless. He then turned and walked away, leaving Alice to deal with the man.

Alice took the phone from the boy and handed it to the young woman, who thanked her before rushing away to catch her stop.

As the train pulled away from the station, Alice couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She wondered if she had done the right thing, or if she had put herself in a dangerous situation. But she also felt a sense of justice, knowing that the man's plan to take advantage of the woman had been foiled.

Despite the uncertainty of the situation, Alice was grateful for the young boy's quick thinking and bravery. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of future was in store for him - and if she would ever see him again.
