Adeline's eyes opened wide, taken aback. "Huh?"
"I should…feed you? But you have hands." Her lips puckered, her brows wrinkling.
"I'm also a sick patient." Caesar innocently rolled his shoulders, shrugging. "These hands, I can't move them properly at the moment. But if you are so heartless as to make me do it by myself, I don't mind." He was tapping his feet on the floor, his face holding a cynical look as if he were hurt.
Adeline blinked rapidly, her lips softly parting. "You've got to be kidding me."
Weren't you literally the same patient who had me trapped with those same hands? Who the fuck is heartless here?
"Mmm," Caesar hummed mischievously, almost as if he could tell what she was thinking.
Adeline sighed. "Fine!" She scooped up a full spoonful of rice. "Open your mouth."
"Gladly." Caesar grinned and opened his mouth quite wide for her. He peered intently at her, their gazes never breaking as he began to chew.
