Caesar sat, gazing at her, his eyes blinking ever so surprisingly and shockingly. No one had ever, not even once in their life, yelled at him like Adeline did. She was scolding him as if he were a little boy.
Not even his father dared. Even if he were angry, he minded his tone because, obviously, no matter how tough his father acted, he was still afraid of Caesar.
But what was this feeling peeling at his chest? Instead of being annoyed that he was getting scolded like that, he felt rather…excited, if that was a more suitable word.
Watching his mate stand in front of him and yell at him like that was forcing this unfamiliar feeling to rumble in his chest. No, it was more of a turn-on.
It was just her, though, because knowing himself, if anyone tried screaming at him like that, he would have smashed their heads into the wall.
