Adeline nodded but was curious. Where was he taking her?
It was surprising to find herself standing in a shooting range a distance away from the garden. Before her were five shooting targets, five blocks for support, and a gun placed on each of them.
"Caesar…?" She turned to look at him. "What are we doing here?" It was only then that she realized why he'd asked her if she knew how to shoot.
Caesar took his jacket off, handing it over to the butler who had approached him. The butler was in charge of the house due to the fact that Caesar barely came there. He saw to it that the estate was kept clean, if not to the extent of sparkling to the eyes, and that everything was organized to his taste.
He was a picky man, after all.
Caesar moved toward the first block and picked up an AK-47.
"We are going to practice shooting, doll." He glanced at Adeline with a grin evident on his face.
