Caesar shut the door of his bedroom behind him and walked over to the sofa to sit down. Deeply, he began to think, wondering what to do or how to fix things, but when he couldn't figure out anything, he stormed to the wall and frantically began to punch it.
He was angry, confused and lost, and he didn't know how to process anything occurring that very day. He was beyond frustrated, unlike anything he'd ever felt before.
He wanted to go to Adeline, to see her, because he really can't stay away from her. But what was even the point? She didn't remember who he was, what he was to her or even the fact that they were…
His bloody hands dropped to his side and he stood with his head lowered, tired. He wished he could wake up from whatever nightmare this was. He wished he could just open his eyes and all these would be nothing but a bad dream.
But alas, it wasn't. It was reality—one he had to face and get through.
