Caesar ran his fingers through his hair and lifted his head at the sudden sound of a knock at the door of his office.
"What?!" He shot a killing look, ready to get rid of whoever it was that was at that door, ruining the peace he was trying to have.
"Sir, it's Yuri. May I come in?"
"What is it?" he asked, pissed off. Had it been someone else, he would have completely lost it.
Yuri opened the door, stepping inside with a soft smile on his face. This caused him to frown in heavy displeasure.
What the hell was he smiling about? Could he not read the room or something?
Yuri walked over to him and bowed respectfully, his smile still evident. "Sir, you should come to the hospital."
Caesar's heart skipped a beat.
Why? Did something happen to Adeline? Didn't she make it?
But then, if that were the case, Yuri wouldn't be smiling like an idiot.
"W-why? Did something happen?"
"She's awake, and she-"
