Caesar, who was about to get into the car with both Yuri and Nikolai, came to a halt. They stopped with him too, having heard Adeline's scream.
"Doll…" Caesar bit his lower lip and smirked to himself. Maybe, he would take her out when he returned, just to spend time with her.
Nikolai and Yuri sent each other a glance before sneaking a stare at Caesar.
Oh, they sure can tell immediately what had happened.
Yuri shook his head with an incredulous smile, and Nikolai, on the other hand, still seemed taken aback.
Did he propose to her? Nikolai wanted answers, to be sure. He and Yuri might be misunderstanding it, no?
