Adeline's teeth were gritted, her shoulders rising and falling in pure annoyance.
"Caesar is my mate and my man. I'm not sure what sort of delusional dream you are having, but he is not yours, and he doesn't belong to you!" She made it clear with her words, not at all intimidated by the Omegan assassin.
Diana trembled, burning in silent anger. Her nails subconsciously elongated, piercing painfully into Adeline's tender skin.
Adeline hissed, moving her face to slip out of her grip. "Fuck, let go! You are hurting me!"
"I see why Caesar chose you over me," Diana suddenly said, breaking into sadistic laughter. "Other than the fact that you are just a fun human he could mess with, you're not boring at all. He doesn't like humans, not even one bit, so I will never come to the conclusion that he loves you. Disgusting, Caesar would never!"
Adeline laughed, truly humored.
