"No." Adeline disagreed.
"I love you just the way you are, Caesar. I've accepted it, and I don't care about whatever you are. I love you, just you, Caesar. Nothing else matters."
Caesar smirked, his hand roaming to the back of her head to grab her hair. "Good. If you succeed in fixing me within two months, you can have every inch of me—the whole of me, again. I'll be all yours, completely." His lips met hers, merging perfectly as he kissed her passionately, this time around with so much affection poured into it.
It contradicted what he'd said to her, but Caesar couldn't care less. He wanted her; the whole of him had missed her, and he was going to have the woman he loved, feel her again and refresh every moment with her in his memory.
The whole of him was excited for her. Every part of him.
