Caesar was coming right out of his dressing room, his fingers working at the buttons of his shirt. He turned his head to the door at the smell of Adeline's scent and the sound of her voice.
"Princess?" There was a look of surprise on his face as he stared at her, having not expected her to come to his room that night. Nonetheless, a side-smile crept onto his face.
He loved to see her.
Adeline stepped into the room, shutting the door. She walked up to him, stood with her hands behind her back, and lifted her head to peer into his green orbs.
"Adeline? Is something wrong?" Caesar asked, feeling as though she had something she wished to tell him.
But Adeline shook her head. She rather grabbed his hand, placing the credit card in the center of his palm. "Here you go."
"Are you done using it?" Caesar caressed her slightly wet hair, slipping the few strands behind her ear.
Adeline gave a nod, her lips stretching into a wider smile.
