Receiving no particular response from Igor, who stood gazing at her, Adeline rubbed her temple, stressed out.
"Igor, I feel so close to him...as if there is something holding me to him, but realistically, I barely know him. There are lots of strange things he does that I'd like to understand, but he wouldn't tell me, and as much as I don't want it to affect me, it is bugging me, like, really horribly." She took a deep breath. "Do you know anything about Caesar, Igor? Something you could at least give me an insight on?"
"I'd like to know him, not just the fact that he is Caesar, who runs the biggest mafia in Russia. I want to know the real Caesar, but you see, he wouldn't tell me." A sigh fled her mouth, and she rested her head against the counter.
Igor could only stand, peering at her. He'd loved to tell her who Caesar really was, but he couldn't. It wasn't in his place to do so.
