Now, Dimitri was beyond confused.
If she wasn't there to harm his father, why had she come then? What did she want? Was she truly a friend, like she'd said?
A soft breath of relief fled his mouth, and he wheeled himself over to the bed, examining his father once again.
He turned to the nurses behind him. "I'd like some security men to be stationed out there. My father's safety is your top priority, understand?"
The nurses nodded, very understanding. It'd be weird if they didn't, at least not after what happened out there.
Exhaling, Dimitri laid his head down against the bed, wanting to get a bit more sleep. Staying in his ward would leave him completely restless, so the best option for him was to come and spend time in his father's ward, at least until the old man finally woke up from his temporary coma.
Adeline really did a huge number on him.
