As an inexperienced novelist writing my first novel, I apologize in advance for any grammar or other mistakes that may appear. I hope you can still enjoy my novel "This novel is based on the Diamond no Ace anime, but it does not encompass the entire story. All characters from Diamond no Ace will appear in this novel. However, the focus of this novel is primarily on the character kazuki Kagawa and his journey as a catcher."

Chapter 1 - Fated

In Tokyo, Japan, a 10-year-old boy with white hair runs through the streets with a baseball.

Bhum...

Suddenly, a sound is heard. The white-haired boy stops running and says to himself,

"Wow, that was an amazing sound."

The white-haired boy starts to search for the origin of the sound.

Finally, he arrives in front of the park. At that moment, his eyes fall on another boy who same as his age. This boy has black hair and blue eyes. He is catching a baseball thrown by a middle aged manthe boy.

The white-haired boy approached them.

Looking at the white-haired boy, the young man asked,

"Kid, do you want to play with us?"

"Yes... yes... I want to play, but I will only pitch."

"Oh, then come on. I want to see your pitch."

The white-haired boy came near the man and then looked toward the boy who was sitting like a catcher. He said,

"Kid, I heard the sound of the ball falling onto your mitt."

"Let's see if you can catch my pitch..."

"Oh, that's a good line, kid. Let me see if your words are just talk or if you have some capability," the middle-aged man said.

Then, the white-haired boy raised his hand and threw the baseball with strength.

Bhumm...

The baseball correctly fell into the catcher's mitt.

After hearing the sound of the baseball landing in the mitt, the white-haired boy started to smile.

'Not bad... you are a good catcher,' the white-haired boy thought.

"Ohooo... that was a good throw, kid. You're not just talking; you have some abilities," the middle-aged man commented on the white-haired boy's throw.

"What do you think, Uncle? I am the super future ace of Japan. How can I not be capable?"

After that, the white-haired boy started to throw the baseball continuously.

Bhum...

Bhum...

Bhum...

A series of sounds of the baseball falling into the pitcher's mitt echoed through the park.

After some time of pitching, the middle-aged man said, "It's time to stop, kid."

"Huh... what? I haven't even warmed up. I want to pitch more," the white-haired boy replied.

"It's already late, kid. You can pitch tomorrow."

"Will you come tomorrow?"

"Yes, we will come tomorrow."

"Hmm."

At this time, the black-haired boy arrived. Looking at the black-haired boy, the white-haired boy said, "You're not bad, but can you catch my pitch? As the future baseball king of ace, I, Narumia, accept you as a good catcher."

"Huh?" Hearing the dialogue from the white-haired boy, the black-haired boy twitched.

"I allow you to become my catcher and conquer the baseball world," the white-haired boy said.

"No thanks."

"Huh."

"Why?"

"Not interested."

"Hateful."

'This guy is so annoying,' the black-haired boy thought.

"Stop... stop... it's time to go home," the middle-aged man said.

"Hmm... wait for tomorrow. I will show you the number one ace pitch."

"Not interested."

"You... Hateful."

After that, the black-haired boy started to walk.

"What's your name?" the white-haired guy asked.

Without looking back, the black haired boy said, "kazuki kagawa."

"Kazuki, remember my name, future number one ace, Narumia."

Looking at the back of kazuki, Narumia thought, 'I will show you who I am and make you acknowledge me.'
