As we cautiously approach the tram, sticking to the shadows cast by the crumbling buildings lining the deserted street, we can see its old, rusty exterior creaking along the incomplete tracks. The piercing squeal of metal on metal echoes loudly in the eerie quiet of the abandoned city, a stark reminder of the world that once thrived here, now reduced to ruins.
From our concealed vantage point behind a pile of rubble, we notice several figures bustling around the tram, engaged in the laborious task of loading or unloading supplies. About four or five people are involved, their movements quick and efficient, working with a palpable sense of urgency that suggests they are well-acquainted with their task, having performed it many times before. The supplies themselves are difficult to identify from this distance, but they seem to be boxes and crates of various sizes, some of which look like they might contain precious food rations or possibly much-needed medical supplies.
