Seok-jin and I lead a small, well-armed group towards the outskirts of Pohang. The tension is palpable as we move through the abandoned streets, using crumbling buildings and overturned vehicles for cover. I catch Joon-ho's eye as we advance; his face is grim, mirroring the anxiety we all feel.
"Remember," Seok-jin whispers as we near our destination, "we don't know their intentions. Stay alert."
When we're close enough to make out individual figures in the government group, Seok-jin raises his hand, signaling us to stop. He takes a deep breath, then nods. "Now."
In a coordinated move that we've practiced countless times, our group emerges from various hiding spots. The sound of multiple weapons being readied breaks the eerie silence.
"Don't move!" Seok-jin shouts, his voice echoing off the nearby buildings. "Drop your weapons and put your hands where we can see them!"
