I stormed the royal palace and after a fight, I stood face to face with the princess. The culprit of the [Purple Dawn] was none other than the princess, the same one that I met in the library. Her purpose was fueled by the whispers of a great daemon that promised her the return of her mother in exchange for its revival.
I did not wish to see more blood spilled, so I attempted to stop her without a fight. In the end, however, she took her own life. A regrettable conclusion.
Everything soon returned to its normal state. I was celebrated and awarded titles and positions. The greatest reward was of course the sight of my family members unharmed, though the royal was a close second.
