I woke up and for several moments couldn't distinguish between the four directions. My senses felt strange, some extremely heightened, and others numbed down.
"Who am I….?"
[You're finally up, master! I detected an unknown force had taken over your mind but I couldn't force it out no matter what I did!]
"My mind?"
[De-assimilation complete!]
My senses returned to normal as I felt a sense of clarity wash over me.
"That was some dream..,"
[It must be some outside interference but the system didn't flag it as an enemy for some reason, ]
"HAHAHAHAHA" Laughter filled the hallways of the mansion.
"Let's talk about it later, I feel better than I did yesterday, like my mind is clearer."
"Boss, you're up already? We let you sleep because you looked like you needed it,"
I left the room and joined the others as they ran errands and took care of the cooking.
All was well in the estate.
