"Why change? This restaurant is good, I'm treating you. Just sit down!"
Since Alston had put it that way, Edith could only obediently sit down.
Not long after, it seemed Tony couldn't stand it any longer as he left his original seat and came over to Edith's side.
Seeing this uninvited guest, Alston's face looked unpleasant: "We're having dinner, what are you doing here?"
Tony smiled wryly: "Edith and I are good friends. What's wrong with good friends having dinner together? I believe you wouldn't refuse, right?"
"I refuse!" Alston protested coldly.
But Tony shifted his gaze to Edith.
"Can't I?"
At this point, Edith was in a dilemma, unable to move forward or back.
Seeing both men's eyes on her, Edith decided to just go for broke.
"How about this, since you two seem to get along so well, you two have dinner together. I'll leave first!"
After saying this, Edith grabbed her bag and headed for the exit.
