Very soon, because lvy found out that Alston and Edith got married, she wanted to make things difficult for Edith.
So, lvy specifically asked Alston out to meet.
"I heard you married Edith?"
lvy hesitated for a moment, then poured Alston another glass of wine.
Alston looked at the glass of wine in front of him and frowned.
"Why did you ask me to come?"
lvy smiled awkwardly: "Just to ask about things between you two. I heard Edith has been making a big fuss about getting a divorce recently!"
Alston nodded: "We got married, but we don't plan on getting divorced!"
Upon hearing this, lvy became even more jealous.
But lvy still pretended nothing was wrong: "It looks like you really like Edith!"
Alston neither admitted nor denied this statement.
And lvy just kept talking by herself.
"I didn't see anything between you two before, I always thought Edith and Tony were a couple!"
