We sat across from Elysia in her office again, the sleek modern space still as intimidatingly polished as it had been the first time. Shayla and I had gone over the contract Elysia provided, and honestly, it seemed fair. Everything was straightforward—no hidden fees, no strange clauses. But there was one section that Shayla had been hung up on, and I could see the way she kept glancing at it now.
Elysia smiled, pushing the contract forward toward us.
"So, any concerns or questions before we finalize this?" I leaned back in my chair, glancing at Shayla. I knew what was coming. Shayla tapped the page lightly with her finger.
"Actually, I did have one question about this part here." She pointed to the clause about honesty and clients being dropped immediately, with no refunds, if they lied to Elysia. "This honesty clause… It's pretty harsh. You'd really drop a client with no warning if they lied to you?"
