Chapter 33 - Chapter 33

"Yoichi-kun, Mina's identity has been arranged. However, Father suggested it's best not to use the name Uzumaki anymore. From now on, she'll be known as Uchiha Mina."

Shoji conveyed this news to Yoichi during his visit.

Yoichi had already discussed the name change with Mina, understanding that if she kept the Uzumaki name, Konoha would definitely approach her to join, especially knowing her powerful abilities.

"Mina-san can first enter the Konoha Hospital and learn medical ninjutsu under Doctor Doi. As for the sealing techniques..."

Yoichi interjected, "Let's not worry about the sealing techniques for now; one thing at a time. Mina herself knows some sealing techniques. For now, it's enough for her to master medical ninjutsu."

He knew arranging for the sealing class would be much harder than the Konoha Hospital. Doi from the hospital was a friend of the Second Elder, so enrolling a student there wasn't an issue. However, the sealing class, responsible for over half of Konoha's secrets, was difficult to infiltrate, especially for an Uchiha.

Even if an Uchiha ninja showed talent in sealing, they would still not be admitted into the class.

And for now, Mina's training in the Uzumaki clan's sealing techniques was sufficient. Although she didn't know many, it was enough for her study and practice for a while.

"Then, there's another matter, Yoichi-kun. I've looked into the Shimura clan's business. They have two warehouses in Konoha and a merchant group involved in the resale of medical supplies."

"Good, Elder Shoji. I'll take it from here."

Yoichi stood up, took Raiden from the wall, and, after fastening it at his waist, suggested to Shoji, "Such blatant acts of aiding the enemy cannot be overlooked by the police force."

Hearing this, Shoji felt a mix of emotions. He was strong, but had he been more assertive, he might have competed with Fugaku for the clan leader position.

Unfortunately, Kenji saw that Shoji was a compliant blade, unable to make decisions on his own. At that time, the only one stronger than Shoji was Fugaku, who ultimately was chosen.

Four squads, including Yoichi and Shoji, totaled fourteen members.

All fourteen were Sharingan users, with three possessing three-tomoe Sharingan, and the rest had two-tomoe.

Arriving at the village's secluded warehouse district, Yoichi saw Shimura clan members unloading crates from a truck and approached them directly.

Initially, the Shimura clan members didn't notice, but as the police force drew nearer, they sensed something amiss.

"Gentlemen of the police force, what brings you here? We are the Shimura."

Before he could finish, Yoichi interrupted, "Stop everything right now and bring out your people. The police force suspects you of secret communications with the Stone Ninja, involving the sale of these goods!"

"How could that be!? We are the Shimura clan!"

The merchant manager ran over, furiously saying, "You Uchiha dare—"

Swish! Raijin slashed through the air, followed by a bloodied arm falling to the ground.

The manager, now screaming in agony, "Ah!! My arm! My arm... You dare... Wuuu!"

Before he could finish his curse, Yoichi cut off his tongue, "If you can't speak properly, you might as well not speak at all. You, call everyone out. Attempting to flee will be considered acting as a Stone Ninja spy, and you will be executed on the spot!"

Another man, scared witless, quickly nodded and scrambled to call for others. Yoichi's fearsome demeanor frightened him; cutting off hands and tongues for small disagreements was devilish.

Fearing the man might bleed to death, Yoichi kindly cauterized the Shimura middle-aged man's wound with Lightning Release, although the shock made him faint.

"Yoichi-kun, won't there be any problems with this?"

"No, Elder Shoji. There's no need to be gentle with spies in cahoots with the Stone Ninja. Today, the Shimura clan will have to swallow this loss, whether they like it or not!"

Yoichi then took out a scroll from his ninja tool bag, acquired from a Stone Ninja outpost; it contained maps of suitable locations along the borders of the Land of Earth and the Land of Grass for Stone Ninja bases and planned transport routes.

"Once we find this during the search, even the Third Hokage will have to thank our police force."

Shoji smiled upon seeing the scroll, "If you're confident, I won't dissuade you."

After gathering everyone, Yoichi ordered the seizure of all goods to be sent to the police force for investigation, threatening immediate execution for anyone who attempted to flee.

The confiscated medical supplies, worth about sixty million ryo, would certainly make Danzo wince.

Intent on dismantling all of the Shimura clan's operations, both inside and outside the village, Yoichi planned to attribute external actions to bandits or rogue ninjas.

Konoha wasn't large, and Yoichi didn't intend to keep things quiet, so the news spread quickly.

The sight of several people alongside the fourteen-member police force, and dozens of boxes of medical supplies and goods, drew widespread attention in Konoha.

As Yoichi proceeded, two masked ninjas suddenly appeared, blocking his way and coldly stating, "Police force, hand over the people to us for processing."

"No, these individuals are suspected of being Stone Ninja spies and must be investigated by the police force!"

The two Root ninjas threatened, "This is an order from Lord Danzo."

"No matter whose order it is, it's not happening on my watch!"

Yoichi coldly replied, activating his Sharingan, with its two tomoe spinning wildly.

Illusion Technique: Shackles of Stagnation!

The Root ninjas, caught off guard by Yoichi's Sharingan, were instantly trapped in an illusion, unable to move.

Shoji, impressed, remarked, "To immobilize two Root ninjas with just a two-tomoe Sharingan, Yoichi-kun, your ocular power is not weak."

"Thank you, Elder Shoji, but they were just weak. Any other clan member could have done the same."

Yoichi smiled, then continued, "Take them for interrogation as well. Let's see if Root has also been bought by the Stone Ninja."

With the map from the Stone Ninja, Yoichi intended to make ironclad evidence of the day's events: capture them all!

A police force member dragged the two Root ninjas onto a truck, and the group continued towards the police station.

The conflict between the police force and Root ninjas, and their subsequent capture, spread widely; the Anbu quickly reported to Hiruzen Sarutobi, as the incident occurred near the village center.

Several ninja clans, including the other two advisors and Danzo, received the news.
