Chapter 314 - Chapter 314

"Shisui-senpai, I have something to discuss with you," Itachi said, approaching Shisui, who was busy guiding his students on a mission.

Shisui glanced at him and replied, "What is it, Itachi? If it's about training, I might not have time. I'm planning to take an away mission tomorrow."

"It's not about training. It's something else," Itachi said, pulling out a small bottle containing two Mangekyō Sharingan. "Father and I went on a journey using a special artifact that allowed us to travel through space-time."

He briefly recounted their experience, then handed the bottle to Shisui, showing him the intricate four-point windmill patterns within the Sharingan.

"This is the situation. However, Shisui-senpai, this must remain confidential. Father asked me to consult you to see what you think about these eyes."

Shisui's expression was a mix of shock and disbelief. It took him a while to recover. Then, with a wry smile, he said, "I didn't expect that in another world, I died so young—at only twenty."

After a moment of thought, Shisui added, "Itachi, keep the eyes. Use them as you see fit. I trust you. If they can save the Uchiha from annihilation and you're the son of the Fifth Hokage, I'm confident you'll wield their power wisely."

When Itachi mentioned his plan to store them in a crow, Shisui laughed. "That's one way, but replacing the crow every time you use the technique sounds troublesome. Maybe you should ask Hokage-sama for advice."

"Alright," Itachi nodded, putting away the Mangekyō Sharingan.

After wrapping up their conversation, Shisui gathered his students and prepared to return to the village. As they passed through the village gates, they encountered Danzo, sweeping the ground under a genjutsu-induced stupor.

Shisui stopped abruptly, walking over to Danzo. Activating his Sharingan, he released the genjutsu.

After several minutes, Danzo slowly regained consciousness, mumbling in confusion, "Wh-where… am I?"

"You scum!" Shisui snapped, kicking Danzo to the ground. The old man rolled several times before Shisui placed him back under a genjutsu.

Returning to his group, Shisui noticed Itachi's peculiar expression. Coughing lightly, he said, "I lost my temper for a moment. That man… he's despicable."

Itachi nodded. "I understand, Shisui-senpai."

...

At Yoichi's Residence

"Here, have some tea. Do you want something to eat?" Tsunade asked awkwardly, carrying a tray of tea and nearly all the snacks in the house.

Meeting her grown-up daughter for the first time—and having accidentally punched her earlier—left Tsunade feeling uneasy.

"No need, really. Seeing you like this feels strange. Just relax," Yoko said with a sigh, finding this Tsunade somewhat endearing but clearly different from the one she knew.

Yoichi gestured for Tsunade to sit down, then turned to Yoko. "Yoko, how did you end up here? Was it purely the power of the Ryūmyaku?"

"No, it was this," Yoko said, pulling out a turtle-shaped artifact from her pouch. "It's said to be an Ōtsutsuki treasure recovered from the sea by Konoha. It's highly intelligent and barely usable. If Naruto hadn't replenished its chakra, I might never have found you, Father."

Yoichi immediately recognized it. "That's Karasuki. Only Ōtsutsuki or those with their bloodline can use it. Yoko, I'm impressed—you've inherited more than I thought."

"Maybe it's the bloodline," Yoko said casually. "By the way, I've been training with the secret technique you left behind. Uncle Nawaki didn't use the genetic serum, so Mom injected it into me instead after I was born."

Yoichi felt a twinge of unease. So the serum was used… by another Tsunade. And just once…?

Tensing slightly, Yoichi quickly changed the subject. "How long do you plan to stay here, Yoko?"

Yoko smiled mischievously. "I told Mom I might stay a while. Is that alright, Father?"

"Of course. Stay as long as you like," Tsunade interjected eagerly, before rushing off to arrange a room. The estate had dozens of guest rooms, so accommodating Yoko was no problem.

Watching Tsunade dash off, Yoko chuckled. "Just like Mom—always the same."

"She's incorrigible," Yoichi agreed with a sigh. Leaning closer, he asked softly, "How is your mother in your timeline?"

"She's doing well—looks younger than me, even. But she avoided talking about you. Because of these eyes," Yoko said, activating her Mangekyō Sharingan. "We argued. When I became a jonin, she finally told me the truth—that my father was an onmyoji from the Uchiha clan."

Yoichi coughed awkwardly. He hadn't expected the other Tsunade to have raised their child alone, let alone one who awakened the Mangekyō. "That's my fault, Yoko. I owe you. I'll make it up to you."

"Really?" Yoko asked, her tone skeptical but hopeful.

"Of course. You're my daughter. What's mine is yours."

Yoko grinned. "Alright. I want a secret technique—like the Heavenly Strength of a Hundred Technique you gave Mom."

"Done."

"And the genetic serum!"

"Granted."

"And I want to train under you!"

"Absolutely."

With Yoichi agreeing to her demands, Yoko finally let go of her lingering resentment and embraced him tightly. For Yoichi, the undeniable bond of their shared bloodline confirmed her as his daughter.

That evening, as they prepared dinner, Yoichi's other wives returned. Seeing Yoko, they mistook her for a new addition to Yoichi's household and were visibly displeased. Thankfully, Tsunade intercepted them and explained Yoko's identity.

Once the misunderstanding was cleared, Yoko earned their acceptance. After dinner, she dragged Sasuke and Naruto off for a sparring session, but Yoichi quickly intervened.

"Not here. You'll wreck the village," he warned, knowing the destructive potential of their current abilities.

Instead, Yoichi took Yoko on a tour of the village, pointing out its differences from her timeline. As the streets quieted, they returned home. Yoko decided to spend the night with chibi-Yoko from this world, eager to bond with her younger counterpart.

...

Later That Night

Alone in his study, Yoichi reflected on the day. "This is a lesson," he thought. "I didn't even know I had a daughter in another timeline."

He picked up a pen and wrote down his resolve:

"Avoid indulgence."

After staring at the words for a moment, he sighed and crossed them out. Instead, he wrote:

"Always use protection."
