Chapter 250 - Chapter 250

[New Translation!! [Warhammer: Starting as a Planetary Governor]

The idea of using her body to save Nagato seemed almost laughable, but Konan realized it was her only choice.

Despite valuing her purity, the memories of her time with Nagato and Yahiko outweighed everything. To save Nagato, her only remaining companion, she was willing to sacrifice her body.

"Konan, what do you mean by 'any price'? Do you still have any value?" Yoichi asked. He hoped Konan would say it herself, so it wouldn't appear as if he were forcing her.

Upon hearing this, a mixture of shame and anger flashed in Konan's heart, but it was quickly replaced by a deep sense of helplessness. What could she do now? If she tried to be strong, it would only lead to Nagato's death alongside hers.

"I... I'm willing to offer... my body," Konan stammered, her voice lowering with each word, eyes closed in shame. By the time she finished, her voice was almost inaudible.

"How can I hear you when you speak so softly? If you're unwilling, then forget it," Yoichi said, turning as if to leave. Before he could take a step, Konan grabbed his sleeve and, with tears in her voice, pleaded, "Even if it means offering my body, please, save Nagato!"

"This should be of your own free will, Konan. I'm not forcing you," Yoichi said as he turned back and began to slowly unzip Konan's Akatsuki cloak, which was adorned with black and red clouds.

Konan closed her eyes, memories of Yahiko flooding her mind. She had once believed she could be with Yahiko, but fate had taken a different turn.

'Yahiko, to save Nagato, I hope you can understand,' she thought to herself.

Rip.

The sound of fabric tearing filled the room.

Initially, Konan tried to hold back any noise, but eventually, she couldn't suppress the sensations any longer.

An hour later, Konan was left panting, exhausted, her legs weakly folded beneath her. When she caught her breath, she looked at Yoichi with a hint of fear in her eyes, silently hoping to avoid a repeat of this.

"Let's stop here for today. The place is not ideal, and it wasn't all that satisfying. In a few days, you'll see Nagato next to your cell. But if you want him to truly live, it will depend on your performance, Konan," Yoichi said as he lifted her tear-streaked face by her chin.

"I remember that the Akatsuki had a good reputation among the civilians in the Land of Rain. You've learned well. In the future, you'll work for Konoha. Go back to the Land of Rain and rally the people. Let the civilians who once believed in Akatsuki willingly join the Land of Fire. Konoha will be your solid backing," he continued.

The Akatsuki had done well in the Land of Rain, but they were betrayed halfway through. If they had continued, even if Hanzo had dispatched the Rain ninja to suppress them, it could have sparked civilian anger against the Rain ninja.

If the Rain ninja had indeed begun to slaughter civilians, then other civilians and merchants in the Land of Rain would have felt unsafe. They would undoubtedly spend money to hire ninja from the other three major villages to deal with Hanzo.

But unfortunately, Yahiko was betrayed, leading to Akatsuki's collapse. Fortunately, the organization's early efforts had been effective, and loyal civilians still believed in Akatsuki. With Yoichi's support, a new "Angel" could quickly win over most of the Land of Rain's civilians.

"Konan, from now on, you'll be the Angel sent by Konoha to the Land of Rain, and my personal 'Angel' as well. Understand?"

Konan shot Yoichi a stubborn look before slowly closing her tear-filled eyes. "I understand," she replied.

"Good. I'll leave things to you then," Yoichi said as he placed a Flying Thunder God mark on Konan. Then, using the Flying Thunder God Technique, he brought her new clothes and other necessities before leaving the prison.

Fortunately, he had turned off all surveillance and used a barrier technique to block the sound when he came down. Otherwise, Konan's peculiar 'cries' would have surely drawn someone's attention.

Agreeing to Konan's request wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision. She still held some value. With sufficient support in the future, this "Angel" could greatly help Konoha by pacifying the civilians of the Land of Rain, reducing a lot of potential trouble.

As Yoichi planned to make a move against Sunagakure soon, he also intended to act against the Rain ninja simultaneously.

Konan only had two months. If she could pacify half of the civilians in the Land of Rain and convince them to join the Land of Fire, it would be a significant contribution. When the remaining people saw others eagerly joining the Land of Fire, they would follow suit. Even if Hanzo wanted to resist then, his Rain ninja wouldn't act.

Leaving the underground prison, Yoichi used the Flying Thunder God Technique to arrive at Kushina's house.

He sensed that only Kushina was home; Naruto was likely out playing with his peers or challenging Sasuke. Kushina was in the kitchen, humming while preparing dinner.

"Seems like you're in a good mood," Yoichi muttered, shaking his head. He opened a drawer beside the bed, finding two types of pills, which surprised him. Kushina was well-prepared. Thankfully, the two pills looked the same, differing only in effect. Yoichi swapped them with vitamins and headed downstairs.

At the kitchen door, his footsteps caught Kushina's attention, and she instinctively said, "Naruto, why aren't you shouting when you come back this time? Did you lose a fight again—mmph!"

Kushina's words were cut off as Yoichi suddenly kissed her. The unexpected move startled her, but upon seeing Yoichi, she instinctively tried to resist. However, he held her tightly, and a gentle squeeze on her hip caused her defenses to crumble.

Unable to resist Yoichi, Kushina slowly began to respond to his kiss.

Several minutes later, Kushina pushed Yoichi away with effort, glaring at him. "I'm cooking! What are you doing?"

"Curry rice? It looks ready, and Naruto won't be back for a while. Just leave it," Yoichi said.

"No way! What if Naruto suddenly comes home… ah!"

Before she could finish, Yoichi used the Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport them to the bedroom upstairs. The next second, he took away the ladle from her hand, removing her clothes.

After a long while, Kushina lay on the bed, panting heavily.

As she gradually caught her breath, she silently cursed him in her heart, feeling unappreciated. Yet, she slowly climbed out of bed, opened the drawer beside the bed, took out a pill, and swallowed it. Then, she turned her gaze to Yoichi, asking, "Why are you here this time? It can't be just for this, right?"

"Let's talk while we bathe, Kushina. I have to get back home for dinner with my wife," Yoichi said, lifting Kushina in a princess carry as he walked to the bathroom.

Kushina struggled, saying, "You're a scoundrel with a wife still eyeing other men's wives. I don't want to bathe with you!"

"It's about Minato. Don't you want to hear it?" Yoichi's words instantly made Kushina stop struggling. She looked at him in shame and anger. This topic seemed to have a spell over her; whenever it was brought up, she would agree to any of his requests.

To Yoichi, however, it seemed Kushina was just using it as an excuse. If she ever saw Minato again, this excuse would reveal her most shameful side, leaving her dependent solely on him.

Using the excuse of sending the Anbu to find Minato's body, Yoichi got Kushina to give in once more in the bathroom. He then comfortably headed back home.

Before returning, Yoichi used his ocular power to rejuvenate himself to avoid any suspicion that evening.

"That scoundrel... cough, cough," Kushina muttered, coughing lightly after Yoichi left. Angrily, she thought to herself that she would bite him next time!

"Mom, I'm back!" Naruto's voice called from downstairs, prompting Kushina to hurry out of the bathroom and head downstairs.

"Naruto, what happened to you? Why are you so injured?" Kushina exclaimed, concerned, upon seeing her bruised son. She quickly pulled out the medical kit and had him sit down for treatment.

As she applied the ointment, Kushina asked, "Naruto, did you have a fight with Sasuke today?"

"No, it wasn't Sasuke. That arrogant guy got hurt pretty badly too," Naruto replied with a grin, wincing as the movement aggravated his wounds.

"A few kids made fun of me for not having a dad. After I beat one up, he called his ninja brother. But Sasuke and I beat that guy up too. He's worse off than us!" Naruto boasted. While neither he nor Sasuke had begun chakra training, both knew breathing techniques that could temporarily boost their strength. Together, they were more than a match for a genin.

The genin had already been taken to the hospital. If the police force hadn't intervened, the two kids might have claimed their first kill at the age of three.

Hearing this, Kushina's anger flared, her red hair floating behind her. "Which idiot dared to bully you? I'll beat him up! And his parents too!!"

"Mom, it's okay, really. Maybe we should just let it go," Naruto said, slightly scared by his mother's rage. Besides, he and Sasuke had won the fight, so he didn't want to bring in the adults.

"Fine, we'll let it go this time. But if anyone dares to mock you again, come to me right away. I'll teach those jerks a lesson!" Kushina said reluctantly, seeing Naruto's reluctance. His injuries weren't serious, which was another reason she decided to let it go.

After finishing with the ointment, Kushina lightly punched Naruto and said, "Next time, make sure to beat them up twice as hard. Make them too scared to say anything! Who cares if they're ninjas? Those who bully the weak are nothing but cowards!"

"Got it," Naruto said, rubbing his head. He felt a bit aggrieved; he and Sasuke had already fought fiercely today.

...

In Yoichi's home, similar conversations were happening. Upon learning that Sasuke hadn't lost, Yoichi asked no further questions. However, he planned to follow up tomorrow. A genin who couldn't even handle children had no place in Konoha and should consider a different line of work.

Karin, however, knocked on Sasuke's head and said, "Stupid brother, remember to come to me next time something like this happens. Getting hurt by a genin is embarrassing for our father."

"Hmph!" Sasuke huffed, leaning closer to Itachi. He preferred his older brother Itachi to his often-bullying sister Karin.

"How are things at school, Itachi?" Yoichi suddenly asked. Itachi paused, then replied, "It's going well, Father. The teachers know I've mastered the lessons, so they've allowed me to study other things on my own."

"That's good. But while you study, you should also learn to unite and lead your classmates. Try to be a leader," Yoichi advised. "Whether as a captain or Hokage, one must be a competent leader. Acting alone will only make you a subordinate, and that's a limited role."

"I understand, Father," Itachi replied.

"Good. If you have any concerns, you can always talk to me."

"Yes, Father," Itachi agreed.

With that, the family resumed dinner. After the meal, Karin took Sasuke and Haku to train, with Kimimaro and Itachi joining them.

There were many dishes for nine people, but Mikoto and Mina quickly cleaned up together. Their only household chore was washing dishes after dinner.

After finishing, Mikoto approached Yoichi, gently leaning against him. "Yoichi-kun, is there something you want to tell me?" she asked softly.

Yoichi wrapped his arm around Mikoto and smiled. "Mikoto, you always understand me."

"As your wife, isn't it my duty to read your expressions?" Mikoto replied warmly, leaning closer.

"It's about Itachi. I received some information today that Uchiha Fugaku might come back to try and sway him," Yoichi began.
